Looking at the info that was out there and that you refer to I guess people should've worked it out before the RNS.. The Market will have known even if HEMO managed to deflect people on here with news of £600k etc.

Everyone now knows about the letter from the 'cancer center'. Trial start must be priced in too. It's more the data and that will take longer.

I'm used to waiting eons for data because of other shares I hold but I'd have thought that with AML the signs will come through quite quickly. No need for biopsies and scans; the blood tests COULD show improvements in weeks.

Do you think they can afford to wait for the raise? Unless they've really cut down on costs, which is possible in the cycle of events, they are going to be spent-up fairly soon.

Two weeks till the EGM and about 2 / 3 weeks till they announce trials have begun and perhaps the application for Orphan status. Then the raise (but at what level).

I know almost nothing of shorting / shorters. But buying a stock on really good news, intraday, is almost impossible. The moment that you can finally buy is the moment that you've missed the boat (in my short-ish experience). It must have been the same for potential shorters on the news of the consolidation. Obviously they could have been short before but that's a slightly different matter.

I still don't see any shorts for HEMO on short tracker, though there can be shorts below 0.5% that don't show up. People claiming to be short could easily just be trying to impress at their foresight or simply to cause trouble, trying to buy in at a lower price.

Announcing the consolidation during trading hours was a huge mistake. Out at 7am (with the good news) and people wouldn't have felt panicked before they'd had time to digest it. that mistake set the tone ever since.

It's a PR interview rather than Newsnight. They HAD to say a lot of what they said (eg we don't want to raise at 1p unless we really have to') but none the less I thought it basically a fair view of the situation. At least they 'get' the anger so perhaps that will be a message they take forward later.

I was looking back through RNSs. Everything for ages has been about money and permissions, applications etc. Can anyone (without spending time) point me to one that really explains CAR-T therapy and the evidence HEMO have to make people think they are on to something that others are not? I ask as an investor who originally only invested £300 on a recommendation from an enthusiast.

A bit on the age-ist side.

I just took a look again. This is from RNS 27 Sep 2024 07:00

'During the six months ended 30 June 2024, the Group recorded a loss before taxation of £2,815,604'

'The Company had cash and cash equivalents totalling £1,642,762 as of 30 June 2024.'

They must be banking on good-ish clinical news soon or they are in a very tight spot to say the least. Just a matter of time before they say they've asked for orphan etc.

And incidentally, also from the RNS: 'It is important to note that every patient from the very first one treated in the HEMO-CAR-T clinical study will produce valuable data regarding the safety and potentially efficacy of the treatment.'

Which implies he's actually very confident of the efficacy otherwise why leave it so late; the company is almost running on fumes now.

It's clear the intention of the 2 RNSs that one would eclipse the other. It's just that the wrong one did the eclipsing.

I'm in the dark like everyone else. No one know how this will turn out but clinical data is the key, not the jiggery-pokery with the consolidation and raise(s) whenever they come.

Oddly enough they then had a placing at 5p when the shares were nominal value of 15p

Then:

Now the shares are back to 0.40p, not because of the consolidation or raises but because they've failed to create a successful product.

Hopefully HEMO is different and will manage to have a treatment for AML, and then the SP will take care of itself.

Or a Director buy. I guess that with everything now out in the open they could buy at this low level.

I'd be very surprised if a raise comes before good clinical news.

I am a PI and I trade when I feel I can make it work and I don't see the problem, but I admit I'm not an active trader so maybe you will have a point. It does defy logic though and if anything the market does tend to be logical.

I have been in shares that have consolidated and they have continued to plummet but that's because they haven't managed to commercialise their products.

BTW, is Hedge Hogarth still around? It was HH who mentioned HEMO to me a few years ago, at 3p.

Obviously shares that consolidate tend to be in a downtrend, otherwise why do it, which might account for your observation. Shares in a downtrend might well be ones in trouble. If the clinical results are good with HEMO, and getting Orphan status etc. then being £4 won't cause an SP decline in itself.

Manifesto, I have Watches Of Switzerland @ 456.40p and Future @ 886.00p and I don't treat them any differently, when I buy and sell, to my 1p and 20p stocks. It's the amount I wish to invest in £s and then the % increase / decrease that affects my choices. I'd be surprised if people think differently to that.

That application could be news next week. FDA are supposed to respond within 90 days (though the response will be to HEMO, not to us). That's 90 days' of support to the SP.

But yes we hope for great emerging news from the P1 and early efficacy trial and then the SP will take care of itself.

The new sp will be Circa 400p / 500p.

If they were to place at 1p or .25p would it make any difference? You'd have lost your entire investment (well >99% of what it is today) either way.
