I so-nearly sold a few the other day and it'd have been worth it, with what's happened since. Was about to press 'accept' but refreshed instead to see if I could do better and then the price had fallen.

TLSA have have been above $1 since Feb 27th so that very nearly the 10 days they need for Nas (if I recall correctly it's 10 days). They should manage that.

So any good news after tomorrow is not just to support the price above $1.

Incidentally, a couple of weeks ago I wrote to the STC charity guy in the states and asked if he'd managed to reach AVCT. He hasn't replied. He used to be very quick to reply. I'm guessing he has reached them but doesn't want to give info to me.

Feb 24 was only 15 days ago. I'd suspect that's too early to spot early signs of efficacy and the trial is indeed about safety; obvs early signs of efficacy would be a huge bonus – but in 15 days? and then tell the flipping investor about the efficacy? I doubt it.

Following that metaphor, if only Ukraine were getting as much ammo from the USA as Wyn gets (for his point of view) from the management of Avct, Zelenski would jump for joy.

I'm 65% down so not as bad as some. Just topped up as I can't remember a share so over-sold, looking at the chart. But I won't keep my top up money 'in' after the hopefully good news on the first patient. I swore to myself that I've lost so much in shares that 'no more money'. I'll take any 'top-up profit' straight back out.

BV, I followed Tiziana to the Nasdaq and they instigated a 'Share Manipulation' case themselves as they believed their SP was being sabotaged; they wanted 10 days above $1 and half way thru the sp fell and they were very cheesed off having released all their good news at that time, without the desired effect. I don't think anything came of the case though.

Regarding being on the Nas, I have found there's a lot less news from TLSA; months and months with nothing (yes, even worse than with AVCT) but at the moment they are releasing news all the time; either the wait was worth it or they are just trying to get 10 days above $1 again. Steep rise last Friday. News today? Maybe I'll find out within the hour. I digress..

If AVCT go to the Nas and if the same pattern were to be followed I'd sell 1/3 soon after the move, before the news flow dries up. And then buy back later. Easier said than done for me as I hold and hold too long...

Morning Gord, I read Touks post and I get the very very strong impression that he holds and doesn't trade, intends to buy more given the right circumstances, and has detailed pretty much what those circumstances are.

I read Wyndrum's posts and I get the impression that he buys and sells the shares quite often depending on how he sees the share price moving and why, and only needs to be right more often than he is wrong for his system to work.

How is it that you get the two posters confused? Do you read their posts?

Yes Harrogate, sadly true.

I've always know that people 'in the know' have the inside lane with shares but this is ridiculous. Spent the weekend wondering whether AVCT would ultimately go the way of Eve sleep (I doubt I'll fully recover financially from that) only to be 'told' that actually it was just a way for some privileged people to make a lot of extra money.

Am I the only one who wonders why all this news couldn't have been given at 7am last week?

Bad news on Launch 7.40am, not even 7am which was weird anyway; SP down, quite a lot.

40 Minutes after the markets open; GOOD news on AVA6k. SP Up again.

Monday, SP up again on Miami.

Who benefits from an unnecessary roller-coaster in the SP?

They knew all this info at 7am on Friday morning.

I thought about a 10% top slice yesterday ('bottom slice' if you sell at a loss?) with the intention of buying back if it falls again but the moment passed.

It has fallen back every time so far. This time the rise does seem somewhat more concerted, and on a Friday afternoon* is unusual, so I hope I won't regret my indecision..

*I wouldn't be surprised at some sort of news on Monday.

Will the sp go through September 2021 price of $2.08?

My problem now is that I don't actually know what my average is.. I am still down but having moved some from my Fund and Share account (HL) to my ISA a while ago, having sold at a loss in F&S account, I just have to go with the flow and hope for a takeover.

This rise seems a bit turbo-powered.

With Foralumab being suggested as a treatment for so many conditions now maybe they are being thought of as a target by someone.
