On the one hand I'm disappointed that people are getting cranky as this is such a polite / non-point scoring board. On the other it shows it's getting more lively which shows more interest from more posters.
Just for info I think there are a lot more shares now, maybe twice as many, than when Eve IPO'd. So it'll be harder for the SP to climb higher compared to a few years ago. Having said that, all the signs are that Eve is sorting itself out and heading towards profit quite soon – IMO.

It has fallen today, and into the close. I'm glad you can buy lower in the future if you're still interested.

We do pretty much know the 2020 results as they were in the Jan 21st RNS. What I'm looking forward to on March 17th is the comment on Jan / Feb / March sales and guidance on what to expect going forward.

On another subject, people will have seen Trek Madone's posts; he's reliable. He mentioned HE1 a few days ago – Helium in Tanzania. Hi Syn00gold, I'm in SNG, and Avacta, with an average in the 50's on SNG so very happy. I'm interested in your thoughts on NYCT now as, if you're right with £10+, it'd be a good time to get in. I was thinking that Avacta's LFT might have the edge from now on so you must have another view.

Hi Sezz. I first bought Eve at 18p and bought on the way down to 2.8p - but it went further down to around 0.8p. I wouldn’t do that now but I’m a bit more experienced and try to buy on the rise rather than the fall these days.
It’s a former Woodford stock and the price fall was partly driven by Link dumping at any price. I’ve always believed in them, partly because we have one of the mattresses ourselves and it’s very impressive. The thing is that they had cash in the bank but made losses, big losses, year-on-year. Frankly, everyone thought that they would go bust as soon as the cash finally run out.
They got new chief execs - James Sturrock and then the current boss Cheryl Calverley - who cut the spend / cash burn dramatically - but what’s really turned things around has their surprise success during lockdown. People have spent on mattresses rather than going out and holidays, they’ve had to buy mattresses for people isolating in households, and also they are moving away from just mattresses into the broader sleep space. And of course all the bricks and mortar mattress / bedding shops were shut. They’ve almost turned things around and their sales have rocketed. Whether they have rocketed enough to make a profit is not quite established yet as their TU figures released in January still suggest static £8 million cash in the bank - so not up but not down - despite good sales. They are really pushing things in France now as well. They have detailed figures coming out on March 17. This cannabis sleep oil seems to have caught people’s attention and focused on the company. But, as Wyndrum says, it can’t all be down to the sleep oil.
I’ve been in for so long that I’m probably too attached to it for my own good but i’m almost certain that things are going up rather than down from now on. They are seriously undervalued when you consider the cash in the bank and the revenue that’s coming in.
Maybe they’ll be news from them in the morning at 7 am but also keeping my eye on RMS of course and waiting to see whether the mask machine is up and running yet!
I guess I can imagine myself owning Eve in years to come whereas Covid stocks Will obviously perhaps have the moment before it comes down to what is in their pipelines.
With the bed in a box mattress companies there could well be some consolidation. Eve nearly joined up with Simba two years ago. A couple of other players such as Casper and Leesa have left the market whilst others such as Emma and Nectar seem to be doing very well.

Sorry for late reply. Been doing the homeschooling thing even though its half term. My average on Eve is below 4p but was very much in the red at one point. It’s been a steady rise from sub 1p and today was indeed crazy. I sold a tiny amount and put it into Avacta.
I personally think that Eve is headed higher - and quite possibly a decent amount higher. I’m hanging on for that.
I have mentioned poster Wyndrum - whom I respect a lot - and this is what he had to say (he has bought and sold his Eve and put it all into Angle and Avacta so far as I can tell):

The value of the company doubled at one time so it looks too much for P&D and too much for adding an extra (small) add-on to the product range. so, unless CC is going to rename herself Cheryl Escobar and take EVE in a completely different direction , I think something else is afoot.
Its either, the results will be stellar (but it seems a bit early for that rumour to take hold), or big stake taken, or take over coming. But like I say, just my 2 cents - Wyndrum

Wyndrum, I just topped up in Avacta after selling a tiny proportion of my Eve: If anyone is following Eve, it's had a good morning. After my Eve sale I had to nip out and happened to meet our postwoman and enquired if she'd been asked to work on Sundays? Answer was "yes" ("though I won't personally as is wouldn't suit me").
So – and this has probably been written here this morning more than the once I saw earlier: letterbox deliveries are coming on Sundays.

I'm quite glad that things are perking up at Eve. Not surprised as we close in on March 17th.

Does anyone mind if I go off topic now the market has closed? I've recently been at the wrong end of a fire safety assessment; supposed to be done every 5 years. Looks like we'll have to spend a few thousand getting new fire doors and several other sensible measures as the builder pulled a con-trick in 1995 and fillet dud fire doors, and they were signed off by building regs. I know of two other larger buildings in exactly the same position. There must be thousands and thousands more if I know of three within a mile of each other..
Over the weekend I looked up companies that might benefit from what I feel is going to be a huge market. One company I found is https://www.marloweplc.com One of their divisions does the assessments, fits the systems and doors etc. They've made several acquisitions in the last few years, in the safety and regulatory compliance field. I dipped my toe in this afternoon with a small purchase for the long term. I just wonder if anyone else might here might like to take a look or add to a watch list.

And Wyn, if you're still keeping tabs here, looks like the 'sky's the limit' will do great things! Thanks for that. Not my biggest holding but it's set to do well. You too I'm sure.
