Wyn, we shall need you to post your guitar version of "#Eve: Everything Gonna Be Alright" on Youtube at this rate...
A couple of weeks ago my daughter was 1 of 8 – of a class of 30 – not testing positive for covid. So 22 were at home and so was one (or both) parent. It's getting much better with classes near full strength again but these terrible reviews are probably the result of people at eve and people at DX being in the same boat as us, 10 days ago.
Hopefully the reviews will improve soon as Omicron infection recedes. Eve say they are getting more CS staff and didn't they mention that they lost some staff after Brexit with some European workers deciding to quit the UK?
Sadly, couriers are not the most reliable sort. They get paid to be fast – and even if they aren't paid to be fast, they finish work earlier the faster they are. It's bound to lead to poor experiences by customers. I bet CC is in a constant state of fury at the 'friction points' in the delivery process. DX are not in great shape either at the moment with their shares suspended. It can't be good for morale. There will always be bad examples of deliveries gone wrong as some people who work for couriers really couldn't care less, and probably switch jobs more often than average. Incidentally, I didn't get a reply from DX regarding my contact with them.
We have more time to wait seems to be the prevailing view now.
(My wife banned me from investing in the $Inc company she works for but if I had, two years ago, I'd be 70% up. Sometimes one spends a lot of time on a problem when the easiest and sensible answer was always in plain view!)
