So maybe the equivalent days this year would be March 10 and March 17th, 2022. I wonder whether we will get another chance to ask questions or if that's out of the way now.

Not often a thread title morphs so perfectly; some big sales today, nearly 1.5m and perhaps by the same seller. Certainly the two 500Ks look similar.
Let's hope for a better week starting Monday. An announcement of the March date for full results would help in the short term.

It probably won't matter much.. What you say does make sense. If someone heads towards 30% from now the price will climb quickly anyway, and then the takeover would be at the highest price. No sign of a large buyer today!

I noticed your drip-feed comment wyn. I literally had £130 (not enough to buy a snowflake) spare in my SIPP and so just did the same. If it works out, £130 could be £400 down the line.

Roger, I think Ophidian retweeted some 10Feb thoughts by Myles Mc. I don't really understand why it didn't show in Myles' twitter ( for me anyway.)

And 12th July 2021 high trade was 5.3p, so a little while to wait before a takeover sub 5.3p.

Until the CBD spike is over 12 months old (any day now) a takeover offer would have to have been 8p/ 9p (highest price in the last 12 months' rule) so just-maybe someone is waiting..

Wyn, I'm still waiting for the money from the HMRC to be refunded (was a SIPP ; new venture to me) and when it arrives I'll stick to snow but wait for a dip, so thanks on the 'floor'.

Could anyone takeover without CC on board? She's pretty crucial but no one is irreplaceable I guess. If CC thinks a profit really is just around the corner she'd be better off waiting for the profit and the SP to move accordingly? As we saw with the CBD spike of just 12 months ago, it does not take much concerted buying to really shift the sp up with eve.

The brooke and wilde people are almost a clone of eve. They are quite far behind and yet plugging away with a wide range of products. Why would people bother if it were almost impossible to make a profit in the sector? Brooke and Wilde must be making a loss right now if eve are. I can see they'd be a perfect fit but eve can't afford them and they can't afford eve (presumably).

Would be good if someone from outside the sector arrived, with deep pockets, appreciative that the hard work has been done – and profits not far around the corner.

But does anyone IN the sector have the cash for a takeover? If someone were building a stake now w'd have received a TR1 and they'd find that a 5p share price would be quickly reached on a hint of a takeover.
I'd be fine at 5p but many of the insiders at eve paid nearer 10p and not many below 5p.
(Wyn, have you followed $snow? If it weren't for the fees it'd be a good trading stock wouldn't it.)

TBH, the only silver lining I have at the moment is my 20 year old ISA with Jupiter fund managers.
Whilst considering topping up her at these lower prices is tempting there are other opportunities elsewhere, and if things do turn around at AVCT as people hope they will, with AV6000, then I'll be fine anyway.

Dontgive, I think that market is probably well catered for by places selling camping stuff such as Decathlon and others. Those mats are not very expensive either so hard for eve to make much of an inroad, IMO. The Sleep Away is actually out on its own for the moment. Maybe they will expand Sleep Away into 'doubles' or 'kids'?
