RE: CC on Twitter9 Mar 2022 12:50
Hi Dontgive, no, I haven't sold anything since the time at 3.4p. I did buy more after the subsequent fall back with the intention of trying to trade them in my F&S account and now I shall hope to do that and then bed-and-ISA any profit in April.
I myself expect news tomorrow of the detailed update. I think people selling today could sell tomorrow for more, but what do I know..
I liked CC's tweet as I think it gives an insight on her character: eg. I wouldn't want to be a DX courier manager trying to explain to CC why deliveries are going wrong, if you see what I mean.
I'm afraid you won't convince me (not that I matter!) on the share buy-back. Having said that I did try to look into it without much success. It seems that it wouldn't be insider trading to do it at any time though that verdict was in relation to the USA. Not only do I think eve are best investing the cash they have in marketing, product development etc. and so boosting the SP with a profit sooner than if they just buy their own stock, it's just too risky for eve to buy shares when the sp has been volatile and unpredictable to the eve management, as evidenced by their previous Director buys at around 5p (and above).
I noticed this tweet today. I thought I'd try to stick to these apparently sensible rules from now on :)
