Stxx, thanks for the info on DFS. I'd missed that. It doesn't sound good:

"Looking forward, the UK furniture market continues to be challenging and the outlook for the sector remains uncertain given the macroeconomic environment."'
Dontgive, it seems that it's not just the eve BOD that have experienced a very tough 6 months. DFS had been doing very well when they announce results in January.
Will DFS hunker-down and preserve cash or take the long view and pick up eve at a cheap price?
