If I wanted to sell my 'new' shares today I'd just sell that amount of my existing shares and then keep the new ones once I'd bought them..

But I'm not inclined to sell either atm.

Energy, just an aside as it happed to me a couple of years ago with something else..

If all your AVCT shares are in your maxed-out ISA you can deposit the money in a Fund and Share acc (with HL anyway), tell them what you've done with a message, and then they use that money to make the purchase. Might save you selling ISA shares you'd rather keep. Obviously the new AVCT shares are then in your F&S acc. and subject to allowances there.

Which raises an issue for me.. Can I deposit new money only into my ISA to pay for my F&S entitlement (and ISA entitlement)? So my new shares only go to the ISA? I would think, 'yes'..

I guess we'll have a 'major stakeholder notification' shortly and that will be more noticeable.

Certainly, Bensons acted quickly on Monday. I can only imagine how it works. Phone calls from eve / finnCap to the end of last week saying 'now or never for a T/O while still trading' and the answer from Bensons: 'really sorry but we are 100% not going to buy before Admin, but maybe we'll think again then' and 'don't worry about us if you get a better offer' – which of course was not forthcoming.

Then a few calls on Monday saying 'we will pay £X today to take it off your hands, unless you have a better offer than £X in place??'

And fincapp / eve / Administrators knowing there wasn't a better offer..

It's a tough world I know. I think people expected a white night right up to the end as the SP was still higher than when I departed.

Do you have other investments that could make good your loss in eve?

They would have had all the access to the info they needed during the FSP. They had months to look at the books, as did anyone else who was (possibly) serious.

The door's alway open on a reasonable dialogue if you ever reconsider your decision to pick disputes. All I did ever to annoy you was defend wyn's right to post when I thought he might give in to the anti-wyn movement. Obviously that didn't happen.

They actually have some very useful sounding non-covid diagnostic tests. Hopefully they have a PR company that can get them some publicity in health magazines and sites for middle aged people.

For folks on here who already own Avacta shares (I suspect many do) would the T/O price matter very much? Obviously depends on your own ratio of ABDX: AVCT but your own pot of the two would be the same size.

Without the staff eve will be profitable. We could see it on here and so could Bensons. Just surprised that they were the only offer in under one working day. They all had this sorted last week. The 50% sale was to get a bit more cash for creditors, then sell zero stuff the day the sale ended while the sale stuff was shipped out.

They wouldn't have sold to Bensons without asking the others and the others saying no, not at the Bensons' price

Just for your info, Gregpeck7 lost a lot of money on Eve today. Like other people did. But the difference with GP7 is that he ramped and pumped and then he ramped eve again to save his own skin, to get out ahead of the others.

Never believe a word that GP7 writes on this BB or others. Check out his history. He's a bully too, but not very successful there either.

I imagine he'll be back as he lacks any sense of embarrassment I'm afraid. Why he feels it appropriate to post here is a Q you'd have to ask him.

You might have been but the Lascaris War Rooms are really worth a visit, and did the same thing for Malta.

Ophidian was very good at explaining some of the science eg frozen pig whatever (something curled when frozen) , and it being the reason frozen cheese takes different to fresh – and why the LTFs could never get through the tests at Porton Down.

Has anyone spotted any sign of a deal being likely before Administration? I can't say I think it likely, having it go this far into October.

For the first time, (that I can remember) bad reviews are in greater number than good. Shows what happens when you don't have enough CS staff (and what would've happened earlier, had they let people go earlier to save more money).
