PAH, you're post reminds me of the case of Agent B who was widely ridiculed for saying that AVCT was going to drop out of some index; ridiculed and ignored simply for being an Agent B post, even though it was important info and the SP dropped when AVCT did in fact drop out, much to everyone's surprise. Wyn said that AVCT was 'overbought' several days ago. so not at all 'hindsight'. Making an 'overbought' comment like that is as good as confirmation of a sale I'd imagine. In fact, on reading it, I chose to sell 20% of my holding at 157p (held in my F&S account in order to 'bed and ISA' it) and bought some back (in my ISA) at 150p a couple of days ago, and 144p today.
On the other hand, a very popular poster here (most popular on LSE at times) bought more AVCT well above 150, nearer 160p? and said that pennies on the SP now won't matter in the long run. Hopefully more or less true, but he's now looking at a paper loss on that purchase.
Whose comments turned out to be more worthy of attention by readers of this BB.. (cue ridicule on me for my heretical view).
