FFR was always a gamble. You are only kidding yourself if you pretend otherwise. Do you really think it was or is a dead cert? This is why folk get into so much financial trouble. Putting money in the bank is a gamble however it is about risk v reward. This always had a fair risk with a massive potential reward. Still has the potential however risk is now very high

I am with you Tsbs. Anyone who says they know what is going on is deluded. Including Hope ZZ YJ and anyone on this board. In fact I would probably include the judges. One day this will all come out in the wash however when that day will be and what return we will get , if any, is anyone's guess. I think it is time for me to read this board once a week rather than once a day. Interesting as it is I could find out as much about this mess from watching an episode of naked attraction!! Difficult as it is I need to switch off, my investment here is my only investment and although small in comparison to many it was all my spare funds so holidays on hold. I count myself lucky that at least it was my cash not from a card or loan. I have been there and it was not very nice. GLA. Remember there is more to life than money, much more. does the fact our assets have moved mean we in effect no longer own them as shareholders, or are they in a subsidiary we also own? if all we have is 5% of royalties it wont matter much who wins, we will have nothing or slim pickings.
If they have been moved out of our ownership I dont see them ever returning. Why would they? Zaza et al will own the asset and not have to share (apart from a paltry 5% royalties) with us.

I just did a 450 mile trip to Wales. Took 12 hours, had to stop three times to charge. Not bad as it cost £11 in power. It was a 2nd Gen leaf. It will not be long before 3G and 4G , then electric may well be ubiquitous. Much as i would like to see profit here I have come to realise that our dependence on fossil fuels is leading us down a very dangerous road. If i get my money back I will not be investing in AIM or petro companies. But each to his own.

Thanks Timster. Not sure he is saying anything. i see no issue with the fact that i was right, although i may be wrong, but who knows , lets ask someone else. A bit like the whole saga. clear as mud. Be glad when / if i get my cash back. more like many multiples or bust i think.

i would appreciate a rebuttal here from our more learned posters rather than name calling. Did he specifically state his initial judgment was still correct? what was that judgment?

some saying were are doomed, evidence clear. some saying we are winning hands down, evidence clear. all the time there is just conjecture. the only fact i can discern is that they are in court today. ...i think. any actual news about the business would be welcome.

With regret Ian has a point. I have experience of a company "going places" with Max at the helm, heavily invested and a reputation to uphold. Definitely had CEO aligned with shareholders. Then he delisted MATRA , we went onto a Norway stock exchange eventually and my shares are worth less than the cost of selling. I get a newsletter every now and again saying how well we re doing which always brings a smile to my face. Absolutely there is little point being negative all the time, if nothing else it is not good for your health. However even if we do well in court it is a long journey to having shares worth anything like .5p IMO. And all along the path there will be opportunities for those running the company to squeeze the cash out of FRR. With luck and a good trade wind who knows we could all be very happy in 6 / 9 months. But just as easily we could be shouting the odds about our massive losses wondering how the men at the top have come out smelling of roses. Personally I go along the lines of , I am poor, I have lost everything, but I could well have a big bonus later this year. Sort of a write off but with the excitement of a windfall at some point.

Almost nothing has happened in weeks yet we would be and are consistently on the top five most active boards (if we counted which i note we do not). An unusual mix of "cuckoos nest", Samaritans , and plain nutters alongside the resident rampers and moaners. Always makes me smile. at least on the main this is s civilised "community" board with few truly unpleasant comments. Unfortunately my daily visits are just that, entertainment, looking forward to a few hard facts. Even if just a new set of court papers to over analyse. I reckon for entertainment value alone if this keeps going for ten years before crashing then i would have had my money's worth. Although it is getting frightening, i almost feel i know many of you.....

Ok but in stats you would say that it was about 50/50. Certainly not a clear mandate. Not that it matters much as the clowns in charge would find it difficult to agree the earth is round. The whole thing is a massive distraction from what we should be worrying about. But hey ho.

Ok, a bit harsh. Probably the news blackout. In fairness I will repost an earlier message from YJ. I guess you can only post what you know and I can only take it on trust that you know nothing.

I may have had the pleasure of meeting some of you at the shareholder meetings over the years. Firstly, I wanted to sympathise with the situation that you all find yourselves in following the delisting. I would also like to make the following comments :
- I have seen a few posts blaming Zaza for the delisting - this was the last result that he wanted - it was forced on Frontera by the resignation of the Nomad
-I have spoken to Zaza today and going forward he intends to continue to update shareholders and behave in a transparent way as if still listed -via RNS Reach ( some web sites wont announce Reach so acces via www.investigate as well as Frontera web site ,YJ also has a list of attendees that registered for the meetings and we will also email these updates to them)and shareholder conference calls and meetings
-I have checked with LSE and this BB will remain active as long as posts still occur
- All drilling activity continues and negotiations with ‘Major’ are still active

YJ. If you ever need someone to post the odd comment on a Share bulletin board and direct them to a private group of shareholders for information, gIve me a shout, I will take 30K a year as salary. Personally I would expect more if I employed an IR company. I am fairly sure that BP have a slightly more professional approach. But if your posts that say nothing , come across as if you were messaging a mate are of some solace to folk I guess that there is no harm. I however take Rainbow more seriously. If indeed you are the official channel for FRR perhaps best to say nothing until you have something to say about FRR.
