Dean ..... Either you are right and I am wrong, or vice versa ..... The bank balance will speak!
In my opinion, for Marchpole to lose one high profile name (YSL) was perhaps unlucky, but to lose a second (Boateng) so soon afterwards in a very expensive law suit is not only careless but smacks of very poor judgement by the directors.
If, as you contend, Boateng was of no real value, why did the directors choose fight through the courts in August .... Which of course was lost, all costs (I am pretty certain) being awarded against Marchpole ..... And end up in court yet again yesterday, which also assuredly racked up hugely expensive lawyers fees.
If, as you contend, Boateng was of no real value, why did Marchole not just walk away from the licence, which would have saved huge legal costs.
If, as you say, the shares are currently on a (historic?) PER of just 7, clearly the market is saying it too does not like the company and/or the year end results will be at least as dire as the first half.
