Placing is needed, he could've placed when SP was in the 0.4's, not it'll be very low 0.1's. You have to ask why he did not place at the higher SP! It would have meant fewer shares / less dilution, but maybe harder for his mates to get their % return.

BigDaddyIan is comparing UKOG prospects with Geothermal to that of the Hellisheioi facility in Iceland. That facility is the world's 3rd largest facility. UKOG would not be operating on that scale, nowhere near that scale, think 5% of that scale would be an aspiration for them.

1) Why announce geothermal now, it kills their ability to sell their mates a cheap placing RNS for Turkey
2) Huge cash calls for geothermal mean that huge placings will come, that kills the interest from the market to buy, its full on selling now. Only a fool would buy right now.
3) Why did they go for CLN for HH buyout? Look at it's NAV. LOL. They paid Tellurian 3x what it was worth for just 35% of the holding, thus they overpaid by a factor of 9!

The BOD should be kicked out, completely incompetent when it comes to running a business, drilling wells, and producing oil, not to mention their complete shambles when it comes to PR, and a complete lack of accountability to shareholders,

Wressle is in the early days of freeflow production, the flows are steady enough. Only 2 tankers last week when there are normally 3 does not mean that there are issues. Pboo knows full well that a production well does not simply settle into optimised setup on day 1, it takes a little tuning. So yes, do expect to see a few cranes, but if it is as many as the ~50+ sighted at UKOG HH site then be afraid!!!

I'm sorry, but UKOG SHOULD not be moving into Geothermal. They are an Oil and Gas player, not a Geothermal player. If they want to venture into that, then go setup a brand new company and raise cash elsewhere for that venture.

As for the guys on Twitter posting pictures from Iceland. That's all very well, but Iceland is a much different prospect from the UK. Given their island being a geothermal hotspot and volcanically active VS UK which is colder that a witch's bosom. Sure, there are prospects for Geothermal in the UK, but the costs are ridiculous. Maybe Sando will take some $$$$'s to Iceland (but they wouldn't let him in, proper standards). That said, a work-over of BB may be enough to power the local Iceland supermarket.

Yes, that is my assessment. 0.15p. Much depends on the timing, but it is coming, of that there is no doubt in my mind. £1.6m minimum, but I would not be surprised if it were £3m+. Some constraints on how much they can raise based on how much of the £300k nominal value shares they have already used up versus date of AGM and new allowances. I'm not at home, so cannot quote you how much has been used.

MM's don't give two hoots about the SP really, they just like making their % on trading volumes. So if they need to push the price down to generate volume, then that is what they will do. If every so often, there is a "pump and dump" or "good market news", then they may hold the price down to load up a little to sell into the rise, and occasionally a tree shake to get some volumes to sell into a decent demand.

It's what they do to feed themselves, it's the name of the game. For people who think MM's have the final say on the SP and the MCAP, then I'm afraid you are very wrong. Whilst you're at it, go ask the CEO why he went for the crippling CLN arrangement that he refused to consider as death spiral financing, next up, Sando sells sand to the Arabs.

It'll drift and drift until the placing lands. Placing is looking more like 0.15p than 0.2p now. The longer it takes the worse the drop.

SS will place just ahead of the spud, so his mates can sell into the rise that will likely follow. Of course, the timing for his mates is key, because they will want to forward sell 50% before the RNS actually lands. So watch out for the company pump machine to kick into gear, won't be long.

My view. Number of directors is fine. But, they are overpaid for what they actually do. I would expect a junior oiler's BOD to get 30% to 50% of what UKOG BOD is actually receiving. I would also expect them to buy shares with their own cash (or at least exercise options) to get some skin in the game. I have serious issues with a BOD and specifically with a CEO that refuses to buy stock in the company he works for.

UKOG are short of cash, placing inbound. That was the point, backed with some summary analysis, and pointing out that Craignews should focus on some basics before he tries to debate the finer points.

It all adds up. More cash in the coffers with minimal operational overheads.
Just waiting for the prop squeeze and the increase in output.
Then the potential to produce from additional layers.
All adds up to Wressle being one of the those lovely assets that tick over without much fuss and provide a nice steady cash flow into the b/a.
