It was a daft case and a waste of time and money.
But these people will be heard and they have every right to be heard, even if it is dumb.
At least UKOG will be required to issue an RNS and who knows, maybe they will give an operational update too, it's only about 4 months overdue.

Any decent CEO should be doing investor interviews and sessions on a regular basis. Hats off to DB, he did one, but did he answer all the awkward questions?

Just take a look at UKOG, the CEO there has not done a call like that in 3+ years.

Look at ANGS and OEX, both CEO's happy to engage on a regular basis.

So at least DB is taking some of his responsibilities seriously.

There is no "compensation" due to UKOG in respect of Loxely.
They can claim legal costs and expenses incurred, but nothing more.
A company cannot claim compensation when they have not established a business using an unproven asset.

This I know from a case I was involved with (was to be a witness) where a company took legal action to claim losses for a business establishment they had not setup as the property was not ready. Claimed that the builder was late with delivery of the project and that this was due to his incompetence. Case did not make it to court as the business legal representation advised them that they had not a leg to stand on.

But worry not, when UKOG get it overturned, they'll be straight to the market for a cash raise to cover the salary + bonuses of SS and his mates on the board.

In my opinion, UKOG will delist within 2 years, SS will retire soon after. It's pretty obvious what he's doing. Meanwhile oil output by the majors will continue long past 2050. China and India have seen to that.

DB has had the chance, every day for the last few months. He better deliver in the interview and answer the tough questions or PI's will be "disappointed" (vote with their feet).

The Planning Inspectorate is probably waiting for the nod from someone up the food chain, strange statement you may think, but with COP26 just having closed, then there will no doubt be some informal political skin in the game on this one. Just look at the announcement yesterday on MN disease, something that should gave been given funding ages ago, but <24 hours after COP26, the main story on BBC was about the MN funding rather than how India and China will continue their dependency on coal. The timing of the MN funding was a Tory effort to quickly move on and try and win some hearts and minds knowing that they are on the back foot. A good decision to fund MN disease research. I see them making some policy changes v soon, and it may be that the PI has been told to wait whilst these are being drafted for review. Stand by your beds.

The only thing that the soar in oil price has done has been to increase the cost of central heating and filling up the motor. It's not helped UJO one iota. So about time you parked the posts of price of Brent and instead focus on the UJO specific matters.

Will DB address the leaks issues?
When will there be a proper operational update on Wressle with some proper technical details rather than just high-level waffle?
Will DB confirm that he will not be awarding himself another unjustified pay rise?
Will DB confirm that he will not be giving himself a bonus?
Will DB confirm the plans for 2022 and their funding position in respect of this?

UJO have gone into quiet mode and it's poor that the CEO has been ignoring his duties to shareholders. About time this changed and shareholders given some proper respect.

As for being a swampy, nope, not me sunshine. I'm invested in 3 junior oilers (UJO, ANGS and OEX).

Although wish I wasn't in UJO after the drop over the last few weeks.

ANGS is a short term bet on the SP spiking with Saltfleetby, nothing more, and only pocket change.

OEX is a medium term bet, with hopes that the Indian Gov will rubber stamp their 100% ownership of Cambay and then a few successful drills (in a known gas hot spot) through partnership with other folks (don't want confetti there).

As for UKOG, until the CEO stick his head out of the cave he's been hibernating in and gives some proper operational and strategy updates, then how could anyone expect the company to prosper. As said before Loxely PI appeal victory is just another excuse for the CEO to throw more confetti to the innocent.

Output of 90 bopd, with 160 litres per barrel, provides roughly 14,400 litres.

Average household car has a 60 litre tank, mine itself ha 80 litres.

So 14,400 litres is sufficient to fill a mere 240 cars.

My local garage does 4 times that each day, and yes I do know the Shell station manager.

So HH = 1/4 of an average petrol station.

Now that is "transformational", is it not!

Now consider the water disposal costs on top of that.
Consider Turkey to be a dead duck (which it is)
Consider BB to be nothing more than a future abandonment cost.
Consider Loxley to be a waste of good money (which it is)
Consider IoW to be a waste of good money (which it is)
Throw in some pocket change from Horndean.

This company shouldn't even be listed on AIM. It's nothing more than a vehicle to pay directors an over-inflated salary.

Even at 400 bopd, the company will struggle to match 1 local average petrol station. But it'll never do that will it.

As some would say "tick tock". This company in my view is on borrowed time. The CEO knows it, the market knows it.

There's no white knight or radical discovery on the horizon.

Only 1 thing matters from an asset perspective: Oil vs Water and output of each.
Way things are going it'll be a bucket of oil a day with a water fountain that would impress any hotel in Vegas.

Meanwhile, SS remains in hibernation, just waiting for the FD to give him a knock for another placing to keep the home fires burning.
