Thanks Debbie, Hoodless Brennan will not trade them with their basic account, they will do it via their advisory/telephone account but 1.65% commission :-( But maybe worth it if SIT is about to take off, I think there are good signs for the long term too, they seem to be winning contracts anyway.

Have been following chat, I am very keen to get my hands on some of these, my broker (selftrade) will not let me buy them as they do not settle through Crest, a previous poster recommended HSBC but they have a 10-day delay to open an account, has anyone got any other tips as to brokers that will trade these - and allow a quick account setup with cash? Thanks guys!!

Hi all, have tried today to purchase SIT but was told by my broker Selftrade.co.uk that could not because SIT 'does not settle via Crest system". Seems a bit weird, have any of you come across this before? Which broker have you used to buy SIT? Thanks!
