Lol, perhaps they could buy DENSO together with a multiple socket plug for lighter switch, that way they can plug in the sat Nav, forward facing camera and mobile phone together, halfords would no doubt throw in a bag of plastic ties to make sure all those cables are tidy so when they crash there will be perfect record of falling asleep, changing Spotify track etc we can all watch on YouTube British car crash vol 2020
Given Intel's acquisition of mobile eye not a stretch for them to go for SEE to complete there strategy, I'm not sure what the split in the FGPA market between xilinx and Intel are but intel could easily buy both, or an alternative natural answer could be a merger between SEE and xilinx
Lewbo18, the live API goes to scalability of software, companies can now mine their own data against others and it wouldn't be difficult to do this in other industries, with little new capital outlay required, depending on demand, it would be making money with no further investment required again this is just fleet, next couple years will lock SEE in as a unique player in this market and others where there is no presence like it
Alex, if there was levity to your post it was over my head to be honest but I sense you are a technical trader rather than an investor and having traded myself i think its pointless trying to use technical indicators to debate long term holders whose perspective is completely different, I will never trade this stock because I could never forgive myself if it blew in between trades, and experience has taught me trading long term trends never trumps holding long term trends and this is one of those, netflix and canopy are two others I saw but dithered on as I did with amazon after tech bubble blew even though I still kept buying from them after, you do the background and live with your decision each to their own at the end of the day, I read this board because of the quality of the posts and news I've missed not for reassurance when the share dips or rises
Alex8, I don't mind the negative views you have on this stock, though its high on emotion and low on evidence imo, but saying you'd made more trading than holders was a little childish but 'women and children first' was so ridiculous you talked yourself out any credibility at all as far I'm concerned, good luck with your trading
Im sceptical about apple/google play tbh, a while back someone posted a link to an article about the whole digitisation of the car (that included DMS) I can't remember where it was but it talked about the digitisation of driving and given safestocks comments today the issue for the titans would be whether you could still corner this market or whether there are too many players to contain it now, if you were to take civil aircraft industry as an example and see how that resolved to Boeing and airbus (albeit massive and diverse supply chains) the difference is that there are more players per oem's, tier 1/2 etc and the best apple/Google could hope for was to be part of alliances with chip (nvidia are advanced on this) manufacturers, tier 1/2 and oem's that would divide the market along those lines, the appeal of SEE for apple or Google though could be post mobile phone/PC era with eye/voice control of data/apps through glasses/other devices with cloud based power which includes amazon but remember microsofts augmented reality is operational though not commercially, I think thats more a flight of ideas than a realistic analysis, though the feedback of behavioural analysis in the loop does lock down human factors with more fidelity than reliance on professional integrity alone and the significance of that is not to be underestimated viz SEE
Car at 1.52 I think is same car as 1.55 which is a Hyundai ix35 based on grill, but i m not sure about internal layout, steering wheel appears custom, not sure you can read anything into that necessarily given its a demonstrator
I agree flying cars are not likely to be ubiquitous or even necessary anytime time soon, at least outside niche areas, but visual control of software processes as SEE appear to be doing definitely will be, with voice control you're talking revolutionary, this is a really big deal imo This Royce video on YouTube about autonomous control of shipping gives a glimpse of just that, albeit coming from a slightly different perspective https://youtu.be/vg0A9Ve7SxE
Italdesigns confirmed it in response to that question in comments of YouTube video linked below, given that's true then that is a whole new area of visual queuing and control of any system (not just passive analysis) that was previously suggested as a partnership with Samsung but see seem to have done it alone, that's beyond massive
Yanar there is no elephant in the room this is a company with an established product that needs cash to meet demand, unlike Tesla which can't actually produce the model 3 in numbers say, they have already established credit lines to borrow, rather than reissue, that is just for fovio, doesn't include rail air or other streams yet to be announced which are ground breaking risk suites that once created will be as profitable and scalable (is at little to no extra cost) as software, SEE is a data company the hardware is uncomplicated and not cutting edge, its the way they are using it as a utility to reduce risk to industries (including public) that makes them stand out from a whole crowd, SEE will be for industrial risk reduction what CCTV is to crime prevention only firewalled with IP not easy to replicate at this stage
Paulpingles, I'd be astonished if sp goes back to 4, unless some general market rout forces it, failing that ( which would be a fantastic opportunity to reload) SEE is on solid ground in the DMS market considering my other donkey investments this one should do well imo
Brucey, I would worry if I had TERN given the company itself has issued an RNS saying they have no idea why the share price has spiked given there is no new news amazing ramp though especially given how many people are working on blockchain globally, i agree SEE is going to be big but for fundamentally different reasons and for all the good analysis on here though we are also partial to hubris
