Ok let me clarify, not long back posters were discussing privacy in non fleet cars with inward facing cameras, if the police go nuts on this tech and start using it for prosecuting people like they want to do as pets sky news segment then it will kill uptake in private cars

John that's a great post, I think with all the conspiracy theories people are missing the obvious, new tech small player(irrespective of how good it is), not being listed on NASDAQ, inexperience, bad luck, incompetence, poor decision making, fast changing environment despite good decisions, poor handling of news, just doing business with other people.
There are so many factors other than conspiracy to defraud PI's that can easily explain where we are viz share price but that doesn't mean we are crap or about to go to the wall, I do think the next 18 months are critical and i think we just have to wait it out, yesterday's RNS was much better than i was dreading given events 2 weeks earlier

The problem with Nauto is they are a private company so not subject to the kind of scrutiny of a public one, I'm not sure what kind of funding they have but their data suite for fleet looks impressive (a picture on website of driver monitoring the eyes) and comprehensive in terms of what data they appear to be collecting not the data itself, given sensors looking out, which we don't have, however I take your point but absent more concrete info it Is of concern just how advanced are others not on our radar on this board or elsewhere, If you remember when iPhone first came out the app store had a million apps but Google only a few thousand, and apple was banging on about that for only 18 months more before Google caught up, so our data is good but people will catch up because they get how important that is now, obviously Waymo is v interesting, they have all the kit looking out, and would be a big deal if we have them, but people are wise to this and I get the feeling we are more likely to be bought out than fly solo long term

I'm sorry but semicast are ramping SEE based on wishes not facts, the last but one tweet referenced SEE, only for that now to point to Nauto, who have a far more comprehensive data suite for fleet than we do, this is a ferociously competitive market, today RNS was better than expected but the year ahead is going to be critical to our success, I would take semicast tweets with a large pinch of salt

Redindi, there is a subtext here I hadn't considered, if I were an analyst with connections id contact people in private and then do a summary on my blog as he has, the in the open questions on Twitter suggests he's an outsider and means I'll be putting less weight on his blogs from now on, but if you are saying that he deliberately omitted apple to suggest we are collaborating then that's kind of ramping by stealth, though he has mentioned apple in previous blogs it was in a broader industry context and direct so this would be out of character for him based on previous blogs, the chaos thing I liked when I first read it but then repeated posts quoting from the book he was referencing came across as kind of proselytizing which caused me a little anxiety because normally when people do that it's time to dump the stock
For the record, if SEE make it through the next 18 months I agree it'll be a monster, we'll know more on 19th how likely that will be

While alot of semicasts posts are good, today's ridiculous mass tweet to all and sundry smacks of desperation, and previous comments re chaos theory and DMS caused me to do a double take on whether SEE is just another cr@p tech stock, which is isn't, I'm really unhappy with the drop in price on the RBS and the technical chart is unnerving but we are in a delicate spot, the reality of real world business has broken many great potential companies while lesser ones win, it doesn't matter who is testing our kit, its who is buying it and whether we can deliver and stay up until it holds that's not easy the 19th will be an important sign post while I'd hate to be on the wrong side of it if it's bad the upside if good outweighs, and at best if failure beckons I cant see long termers who entered around 3 or 4 losing money if it goes for a low ball

Wilson63 Let's hope so, tech stocks are littered with great companies that lost out for reasons that had nothing to do with the quality of their tech, SEE are right in the eye of the storm as this DM technology emerges I can't think of any other place where big returns are still possible in DM tech than in human to machine handover still not a guarantee though

Seeing20 its because of the complexity of the coordination requirements and sequencing of decision making in complex system environments, because you need humans in the loop what they do and how they do it are critical to safe smooth operations, to make decisions it not only ensures safety but it monitors and guides best action for efficiency, ie more planes more often in the same time space safely, it suggests see is moving into full spectrum awareness of all human behaviour individually and as a team to ensure that it operates to maximum efficiency and safety, if it demonstrates it can deliver on safety and profit that's obviously good for us, airlines made a net profit off 44 billion last year expected to double by 2033

Seeing2020, given the projected rise in car sales and commercial flight use as global population approaches 9 billion I think a 10 billion valuation for SEE to be low ball, though I agree waymo would be a good fit and has pretty astronomical projections for value itself if spun off as a separate company

Goldenboy, you can't be seriously suggesting that TT (or anyone) could buy us out for about £50 million! I mentioned TT only from a collaborative perspective, beyond improving guardian manufacturing and real time delivery I see no strategic connection here beyond collaboration, we are on course to generate comparable profit with a workforce less than a 10th the size and business hasn't even reached anywhere near potential

Check out Jack Boyer non executive position on TT electronics, integrated control systems for rail as well as defence and design development and manufacturing of integrated electronics, sensors and improved time to market of products with advanced manufacturing. That's quite apart from his investment and startup background. also interesting on a seperste note is that TT is worth only twice what we are and yet employs 5000 people with an operating profit of 20 million with a turnover last year of 360 million, I dare not even think where this might be headed for SEE

Sure at roughly 10million daily volume that represents less than 0.5% of shares in issue that's certainly possible but SEE isn't you're typical penny stock (and won't be for long hence the limited volume imo), given that I really can't see any mm trying to pump and dump SEE on the basis of Alex8's comments here like ever, if he is a broker then he is a pretty incompetent one considering his transparency and unsophisticated approach compared to what bots and high freq trading algos can do now

I can't see how one guy would move the share price by posting on a bulletin board tbh that's giving him weight completely out of any rational proportion I think the reactions make him feel better he comes across as a day trader, water cooler ranter type constantly looking over his shoulder, comparing, bragging, revenge trading etc
