Bit like social media and what they can get up to. And this really shouldn’t go down that road. May put some people off posting honest thoughts. Didn’t we already know that, as per Ggp update.

You see, I have said before I am not up on the price of gold, but I can see what appears to be trending, and that though not yet producing, it should rub off on Ggp. And it is the price of gold that has a greater effect on revenue and profits, though not critical to Ggp for now as it pushes ahead with development.

When the price of gold rises in a bull market this can have a dramatic impact on the profitability of a gold mining company.

Though inflation has to be taken into account , for gold miners, production costs rise more slowly than the price of gold. So any increase in the price of gold can go straight to the bottom line. Even slight increases in gold price can have large effects on a mining company’s revenue and valuation.

Up 11% on trading update. There is a share buyback announced also mind. Maintains guidance.

(Sharecast News) - European shares swung into positive territory during the final hours of trading on Thursday as a softer-than-expected reading on US consumer prices left investors stunned, while in the US stocks rallied hard.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 index was up 2.74% to 431.86 and Germany's Dax was ahead by 3.51% to 14,146.09 with Spain's Ibex 35 at the rear with a rise of 1.15% to 8,133.20.
Over in New York trading, the Nasdaq Composite tore 6.05% higher to 10,979.22, alongside a 4.52% jump on the S&P 500 to 3,917.84.
The US Department of Labor reported that the annual rate of increase in consumer prices slipped from 8.2% for September to 7.7% in October.
At the core level meanwhile, CPI declined from 6.7% to 6.3%.
Traders are also watching the results of US mid-term elections, with control of the Senate still in the balance and the predicted "red wave" of Republican victories in the House of Representatives failing to materialise.

You won’t find me guessing at that, or anything not particularly current.
I leave that to those who think they can.

And they’ll put out a RNS on that. It’s market sensitive.

Welsh Falcon. I agree with your post 100%. Look at the bigger picture. Wyloo and the rest. I’m hoping, and expecting, that the banks will sign off on the basis of plans arising from the enhanced study. I have made that plain.

No rub for me. One for you it seems. I’ve said I prefer RNS’s. That’s all.
Those that read his comments as supportive of RNS’s or even better. Well, good for them.
I don’t argue that approach.

Held over past month. Past performance not a guide for future. But fully funded.
All of us waiting on something new and positive to see us alright. Nothing more than a reflection on the strategy so far, strategic minerals strategy with the gold.

I’ve put my own views is all.
But people can, and will, judge me on the bb.

We don’t know the mining plan. Won’t until after study anyway. Presumably there will be options, for optimal mine operation.
I don’t know, but I can see plans being submitted to the banks and further discussion. They may say, well, nothing to dislike here, it’s a lot better, and we could go with it, but in the light of the new study we would rather go with your best operation which we appreciate will cost a bit more, and we’re happy to advance the cash, subject to ……..

No trader. No certainty on anything, including this, but my money is on it.
Whilst the Company and the Banks have entered the Commitment Letter, financial close of the proposed facility and draw down is also subject to customary project financing conditions including completion of reporting requirements, Feasibility Study criteria and agreeing final documentation.

And my opinion, not unreasonable, IF Ggp need more cash to go from fully funded to well-funded, in respect of an enlarged project, as most hope, then it will be raised.

Yes. Most interested investors try to foresee the future, based on the facts. RNS’s as a foundation in my particular case. And then there are options and the unknown. No reason to believe things will get worse here rather than better.

Once again. Exactly right. What Mr. Day said in a less formal setting. They haven’t ‘delayed’ the study to make it worse for themselves, have they?
By the way, I shall not spend time responding to posts about my posts. But I shall read the gems pertinent to the company that may appear on here.
