Depends how rich you think they are too. Those with options got to come up with millions to exercise their options. Some at least can hold that off though until 2026, I think, and all being well the anticipated profit from that would on paper go towards or pay for anything they choose to buy at a cheaper price now, if and when permitted.Be nice to see, but you can conjure with it.

Actually, when I say low volume, it does include some largish trades, apparently both ways, a redistribution if you like, with the price starting again. So quite satisfactory.

It doesn’t matter. People set themselves up. As far as Ggp, Mr. Day and all that is concerned, nothing going on to get over-excited about. Risks disappointment. Under promising and over delivering usually makes more sense to me.

Low volume to be sure, but nevertheless a high on the price. And going along satisfactorily with normal company business.

That’s a bit tongue in cheek, isn’t it? But the answer is they want to derisk it, by making sure that they can do it at a cost that will see them well in profit. And I think they will continue to enlarge prospects for life of mine in that way whilst digging it out, whilst depleting the reserve.

You can price your assets, your stock, as it stands, or you can price them on future net value, profits leveraged by the price of precious metals 2024 onwards.

I think you’re the only poster to have a sensible crack at that, and your posts are always moderate. You’ve looked forward, to production. And though brokers are often dismissed, are broadly supportive of their conclusions. I haven’t looked them up today, but in doing your calculations you’ve obviously passed through current ore estimates ( gold only?) I would be interested to hear what you may have concluded on present value ( increasing with next report ) taking into account proposed debt to go towards net. Thankyou, and no need to respond should you feel it’s too much of an ask after your last post.

Agreed. We are invested in potential earnings, leading to possible dividends on the amount they dig out, and sell, year after year.
The potential remains unchanged, and the reality will become closer with the DTM. It is to that end that I have little concern about charting, and the ups and downs of the gold price, whilst Ggp is not producing, or near to it.

Can’t see that Ggp as a non producer would be impacted by all that.

You see, I liked the story and thought investor sentiment would give it another run. It didn't. They seem to be applying their own thoughts on valuation. It would be a mistake to think that everything likely or possible over the next year or so is factored in to the current price. In my opinion.

Newcrest are selling the stuff. Where Ggp aims to be.
