You can look at market cap or share price. In response to my post, to which you responded, and for clarity, do you maintain that the position has improved for a potential bidder since August thereabouts?

I expect Ggp have a close eye on NCM, by the way, and should in theory be pretty clued up on strangeness with sp., if they see it that way.

I don’t have any reason to believe there’s a company bid in the offing, but they can come from anybody, anytime. If there’s a rumour, perhaps the sp advances. The unknown bidder, on sp, has not improved the position since last August, thereabouts. So I guess those who take the view, are back to shares being accumulated and going unreported over quite a timescale.

Which it appears they are not, for if there is a recent trend it is a rising one.

Clues, eh? My digging has revealed no published open short. Why don’t you just post the details of such that you say you have, or it actually begins to look as though you don’t have it.

And there being no notified short, as opposed to selling or trading, and at the stage we’re at, what would be the point in sitting with a short, waiting to buy back?

I think it’s perfectly fair to mention shorts - if you can find one.
