I don’t think you’ll get a vote on a raise, or listing. Just on reorganisation to facilitate the listing. I suspect we won’t hear anything definitive until a prospectus is published after a vote on reorganisation, last mentioned as being under consideration. I

I consider that a healthy update under current economic circumstances, and importantly we are told that market share continues to increase with plenty of headroom.

IT separation from Travis Perkins is complete. Wickes is now in an investment period on it’s own IT, alongside store estate.

Perhaps there is some, but where is the evidence of obfuscation and delay of the project under Newcrest’s management?

It seems we can therefore expect, following last year, an interim dividend of 3.6p per share payable to investors on the register at close of business on 30th September, payable in November, with 7.3p to come as a final dividend.

I really have no idea about Telfer and its future with regard to other strikes and subsequent processing in the region.

I can, however, imagine the, time, hurdles to overcome and costs involved should someone with knowledge and foresight decide to build a new central processing facility.

I’ll have you know it’s got a strong readership, particularly in Bangladesh where we’re not listing.

I fully expect the votes to be in favour.

Constructively, we are in the same position as we have been in since offer recommended.

I’m just wondering what a ‘buy’ side independent assessor will report to Newmont. I expect it to be published.

It will tootle on, get voted through unless very unlikely event something unforeseen and major crops up,with both companies having canvassed major shareholders.

So nothing new. Though I shall be interested in any figures Newmont’s independent assessor puts on H/Telfer in their corresponding advice to shareholders to support the transaction as being in their best interests.

Presumably Newmont shareholders await publication of a similar document prepared for the ‘buy’ side of the transaction.

It’s old thinking, in my opinion, a hang-over from previous posting, this secret squirrel stuff. All parties involved will know what’s what, and those others who may come to have an interest will find out in the usual way.

I think it’s obvious Ggp thought it advisable to put the latest release into context for it’s shareholders, and reassure them that as things stand it has no inside knowledge of foreseen change.

It is not scientific, but there appears a dichotomy in discussion. One would expect Newmont with it’s existing 70% and Telfer, to see as much benefit in retaining that as others might see in acquiring it.

Nothing has changed as RNS’d. We still will await Newmont’s decision, at a time when Havieron data has been updated.

The bottom few lines.

There’s nothing wrong operationally. Nothing has changed for the worse with H, and there are other irons in the fire.

I do not think it is to do with the possibility of a modest raise on listing, either. Nomatter how accretive longer term, investors may well be more concerned about the potential for a large fundraise arising from an acquisition of Hav/Telfer, should Ggp go for one reason or another in that direction, though it may be on a partnership basis.

I consider myself locked in, and like everybody else will get 7am RNS’s whether they suit me personally or not.

Well, you can lump it all together and complicate it, or you can take it one step at a time, as it falls.

If there’s to be reorganisation in connection with listing a new company, seems to me the vote on that should be next up.

I think they said this year. November they hoped? Scheme of arrangement through Court.

They will have a board to appoint. They have said they will operate regionally, as you might expect. I can see a former Newcrest exec getting that job to include Hav/Telfer.
