Personally, I can’t see this being the case. More likely to be those people / institutions that bought the placing shares. The sp is doing something similar to that which it did following the RNS about Dr C joining the board.

I don’t think it’s Dr C selling now because he’s here for the long haul. This profit is nothing compared to the potential increase in sp he should anticipate. He’d also be considering how the market would respond to a NED selling shares this soon after buying them. I don’t think he’s in it for a quick buck. Fingers crossed and all that! GLA.

Worth thinking this through:

This is a ‘notice to editors’ piece at the end of the the last RNS re the MoU. How much value does the unique, IP protected, prismatic design add here? It certainly makes sense for Dr C to be taking a financial and hands on interest in the company. As I’ve said previously, this company is heading into the specialised area of power systems engineering. Huge money to be made. GLA.

Looking at this from the trading update:

Design wins sounds interesting. At present there are only 2 DMH products showing on the Cap-xx website. I’m wondering if the new DMH are the same core chemistry but bespoke design for an end product manufacture? Or a new capacitance / design that has been suggested by multiple potential customers? So additional new products within the DMH family, not completely new from scratch? GLA.

This is interesting. Dr Cooley is a Director of Brigantia Capital Ltd. A for profit investment company. Investing £10 - £50 million into UK based companies working in the net zero industry.

One of the other Directors is a director of a global private equity company. Based at the same address.

There’s got to be something pretty special about a company that makes a Director of a JV / for profit investment company put his own hard earned in.

And back to the grownups. Parkez, and others, thanks for the quality posts over the last few weeks. This company is on the cusp of something huge. I’ve been thinking this more and more since Ed Milliband decided to stop new drilling licenses in the North Sea. Whichever way the country now seeks to supply the grid, supercap technology will be an essential part of balancing the grid. Up scaling the big stuff, not IoT size, kit Cap-xx will be fundamental in this. Nothing else has the instantaneous ability to store charge, be environmentally friendly, and cheap. GLA.

You really have to question the decision making process of someone who invests more than they can afford into a company that only makes one product and then whines and whinges like a little girl about it. Suck it up buttercup. You chose this. Didn’t this cross your mind back then? The fact you think supercaps could get replaced overnight really shows us everything we need to see. There will always be a need for them. It’s as simple as that.

Where to start… they did have the money to protect themselves, if only they’d had a valid patent. No amount of money in the world will protect you when you’re simply wrong. This wasn’t a money issue, it was a negligence on their own part issue. It hurt us all.

The super fast charging battery has been developed. You might as well sell up now. Hmmm. But still not as fast as a supercap. It only you understood the electro-chemistry and electro-physics, then you’d understand why supercaps will be needed, regardless of how quickly a battery charges.
