Afternoon everyone. Looking through the RNSs and reach updates. The reach 7th December suggests the IP / patents protection for the SMT and polymer systems was awarded then.

I’m thinking the RNS in early May advising more patents would be awarded ‘in the next 3 months’ relates to more IP. Possibly being released this coming week. Are we seeing increased interest now because of this? We know Tesla ended up buying Maxwell for just the dry electrode IP. Just think how much the entire IP of Cap-xx and all the up-to-date research being undertaken is worth.

Interesting question. They’ve just raised A$ 2,000,000 and issued 2,000,000,000 (plus retail) shares. I’d have thought the churn at present was related to these? If a placing is taking place, it’s for a specific reason re growth. Not just keeping the lights on. But the timing seems very odd, coming so soon after the very recent one.

Ignore the cars, look at the powerwalls. The 3rd generation has already been launched. Could this be part of Tesla’s long term plan? Developing domestic, local, and regional power storage. Balancing the grid is becoming more and more important. Though the TWHs of electricity used in the uk has been falling, this trend is likely to reverse as we move away from fossil fuels.

It’s interesting seeing how the wholesale cost of electricity alters during the day. Big spike 16:00 - 19:30 as everyone comes home and everything gets turned on. Being able to meet these peak demands is going to be an important use of storage systems going forward. IMO. Not a power systems engineer.

I’m a little confused as to the long term intentions of the company re heart valves tbh. I suppose RUA are being ‘agile’ in their approach. Will the major manufacturers want the Elast Eon derived product as a sheet or preformed valve? How will the manufacturing part of the IP influence this?

From a medical science perspective, it will be great news if the flow characteristics of the valves under test have been maintained.

This might be a ‘hook’ to generate a good news story for the company, improve PR, and get more people investing?

I appreciate it’s a small part of what RUA has to offer, news about contracts in the ‘big stuff’ is obviously more important here and now.

Starmer was DPP at the time, but wasn’t informed about SAVILLE. Why he wasn’t told, I don’t know. But he didn’t actively stop a prosecution. I’d be really interested in seeing the confirming evidence that Starmer actively allowed / refused to prosecute cases involving the rape of children. Not as much as what I’d like to see happen to paedophiles mind you…

Touk, you’ve raised a very important question about the speed with which FAP can cleave AVA6000. I can’t find an answer. Looking at the pre/CISION : doxorubicin bond, it should be quick. And then the doxorubicin is free to go into the cancer and stroma cells incredibly quickly.

Now AVA6000 vs plain doxorubicin.

The yellow line is the concentration of AVA6000, its peak concentration is far higher (log scale) than just the fact that it’s 160 mg AVA vs 75mg plain doxorubicin. The yellow line also traces what is close to an exponential decay, whereas plain doxorubicin looks more like two lines intersecting. So the plasma level of AVA6000 stays higher for longer. It also starts with a far far greater plasma concentration, driving AVA6000 into the TME. This, hopefully, overcomes the problems of differing distances to the cancer cells.
