Hi Folks,
Just thought I would share my p/f with those willing to make constructive comments (+ve and -ve) on how I could proceed.
This is a SIPP, which I use to support myself with a modest income, to help pay for ongoing car commitment and husband/wife entertainment budget. The p/f consists mainly of HY shares to generate dividends which are withdrawn quarterly. The capital is left intact, and would be reinvested if profits made, but to date I have struggled.
I now have 10 holdings of which 3 were bought from the initital lump when account was opened in Jan 2018, with 6 having been purhcased this month and 1 earleir this year.
when the market went into freefall early this year I suspended my withdrawals and these will be reinstated at the end of 2020.

VOD (5%) 133p Dec 20, 133p, 6.1% - keep for income until TP reached 155-160p
I normally aim for 5% divi with any new purchase for income.
I aim to have up to 10% of the p/f for fun or trading. Normally these are short term targets looking for 10% profit with intention to repeat in year if possible. PDG has previously been traded several times with this purpose.
I call myself CSDI - Crap Share Dealing Ideas - as any share I purchase tends to be cursed.
I have a natural skill of selling shares juts before they take off and buying them just before they drop like a stone.
Cheers - CSDI
