What our resident, self appointed investment guru Rojo seems blissfully ignorant of is that most of us, the intelligent, open-minded, rational posters amongst us have already loaded up in the dips, at prices half of today's price and don't need to chase it upwards. That is the reason that many here including me, GL and others have an average price way below today's bid price and he - the obdurate, inflexible, one eyed "Emperor" is still way, way out of the money...

No surprise though that our boorish dotard is sufficiently oblivious of his own ignorance as to offer others here investment advice. Oh the irony! 😄

The GSA (not PSA) for Ruvuma is very straightforward HighYield. You are right in that it has not been officially stated anywhere but at the AGM in June 2024, in the Q&A, section the answer to the question was that the gas in being sold at wellhead for a figure that equates very closely to the Kiliwani number when inflation is added in. The Kiliwani figure was US$3.00 per mmbtu (approximately US$3.07 per mcf) but that has been increased with inflation to now stand at something akin to US$3.8 per mcf. All sold at wellhead and hence the issues you raise with "cost gas" and "profit gas" is not relevant here - in just the same way that it was not relevant with Kiliwani either..... ARA/AEX are not sharing infrastructure or costs with the TPDC. TPDC just pays for the gas at a predetermined price - end of story. Plus any condensate is ARA/ AEX's to sell at will and at any price they can get for it - and there is expected to be a considerable amount of that.

London, there have been changes of status on that particular site several times in the past - usually a long way behind the actual event - and none have been RNS'd to date. So maybe, but not based on past performance...

SP Angel is the Compny's Nomad of course and cannot be considered in anyway "independent" but, if you read their most recent research note one point they make says....

"Synergia has experienced a persistent gap between the Company’s net asset value and market capitalisation for some time now"

And that this is the justification for selling 50% of Cambay at a price which "represent a compelling valuation and significant value crystallisation for shareholders".

Well, even if you were to accept that (I don't), in my view it is Camelot that they should have sold, not Cambay...... Cambay may provide currenta nd future income streams for SYN and shareholders. The reason that there has been a significant gap between NAV and MC is simply because Camelot EATS all of that income for zero perceived value... they have sold the cash cow and left the cash drain.

We are assuming that the sale was initiated by Roland - who is to say that Selan didn't issue an ultimatum? Sell us your 50% or we will just run the clock down....? Unlikely for many reasons but this last 12 months has demonstrated that Roland was NOT in the box seat after all.... purely a respondent.

But dvh, the BoD are not negotiating from a position of strength. Backs against the wall time. Would they be doing this if they could avoid it, or, if they could afford to wait for the new well drill programme?

Where is our beloved PensionInvestor on a day like today? PI you don't need to wait until 2026! Today is your lucky day, you can sell your holding at with a 5% profit already and we are not yet out of 07/25 !!

How about the possibility that the BoD identified that the workovers were never going to have sufficient positive effect on cash flow to stave off a further cash raise before the outcome of the new well drilling programme and yet that the BoD and our Nomad have identified that there is not a hope in hell of the market supporting further dilution. So there was every prospect of handing back 50% of the Cambay License and therefore anything that we were able to get for it is better than nothing.....

I doubt we will ever know - it will be a done deal by the AGM

I agree gordon, there is something here that the BoD are not telling us.

Moreover the statement "The terms agreed with Selan reflect a compelling valuation relative to our current market cap" reveals an fundamental assumption that is NOT based in reality - that simply adding $14+m to the balance sheet will have a pro rata effect on the market cap - it WONT!! There is no automatic correlation between cash on the balance sheet and the market cap. Not least because the pay day is months if not years into the future and is not guaranteed.....

There have been umpteen times to buy "cheap" shares in the last few years; I have done so many times and top sliced many of those too. My average now 0.82p and that does not even take into consideration those I have sold at a profit. Those of us that have been rational and flexible have taken advantage of those opportunities; the obstinate, narrow minded, smug, know it all, doom mongers have only themselves to blame for missing out.
