Hi nCP, I believe that it is intended to do both of these two things but not necessarily as part of the same exercise - the gas sampling is the short term priority as it is needed for the specifications for the pipeline build. For what it is worth I also learned that the porosity / permeability of NT1 significantly exceeds NT2 and that is the reason that NT1 is being "re-drilled" - there is greater potential "upside" from the re-working of NT1 than that of NT2.

So I would suggest that there is no huge expectation that NT2 re-working will bring about a material upgrade in flow rates, so maybe that is why is does not register on the list you mention? But that is just me speculating CP, I may well be wrong on that.

Maybe Toffers but extremely opportunistic - the BOD are in the privileged position of issuing options at the "drop of a hat" - if the first tranche crashes and burns, just issue a new tranche at a lower strike price and then if that one also crashes do it a third time; it is a no lose situation - we shareholders do not get the same privilege. There are many here nursing paper losses on shares bought at a much higher price - wouldn't they just love the opportunity to be given "free" shares at 1p?

And to make it worse they are being diluted by another 10%. No wonder they buried it in the EWT RNS...

You are correct in everything you say Peakybrum but it does represent something akin to a 10% dilution. That is not insignificant and does seem extraordinarily generous.

As I said last week stockcheque the requirement for a CPR was at the TPDC 's request; to provide confidence to them ahead of the Pipeline initiation. They, the TPDC, subsequently received the confirmation and confidence they required from alternative sources of validation so the CPR was never initiated.

And also one other detail - the CPR was only to cover NT1 & NT2 and not CH1 as speculated below; so in any event it would have been earth shattering...

And fwiw I was not the only one involved in that conversation so maybe one or more of the LSE BB members present will confirm it?

Just to demonstrate that point; you will all recall that for Kiliwani the terms of the GSA were available for all shareholders to see. However AEX did not negotiate the GSA on this occasion and have been precluded from circulating those terms - the price of the gas being sold at wellhead is now "commercially sensitive". The closest we got from them was, "it is about where you would expect it to be..." or words to that effect. In response, I said something like "so, Kiliwani terms plus inflation?" and got one or two "nods"....

Edgar and Sambo, do bear in mind that AEX are not directly involved in the Drilling or Workover negotiations and can only report if and what they are being told by ARA/APT....

Yes PoC, I fully expect NT2 well test to be completed in plenty of time to enable initiation of the pipeline construction for the turn of the year - furthermore I had always believed the CH1 drill to be (as both previous NT wells) drilled in late December; however on this occasion I think that is the very earliest we can realistically expect.

Yes CP three months assuming a fair wind - that is, they are able to start and finish within a suitable "weather window".

I would not argue too much with your expectations there, save to say that I think September for NT2 well test is on the optimistic side but doable. The pipeline similarly though with the groundbreaking and land clearance mid December, so 6-8 weeks behind yours and, yes that makes the end Q1 target in question though not by too much.

"The testing of Ntorya-2 is now scheduled for mid-year using an in-country mobile test unit."

Well it appears that, as yet, ARA/APT have yet to even sign a contract with anyone to do this work.

But out of interest RJ, based on your conversations yesterday what date would you put on the first and then the second?

FWIW moreover I broadly agree with your second statement but simply because, assuming they have a drill on site by then, they will time the CH1 drill to broadly coincide with the pipeline completion date - they cannot gauge the second without knowing the date of the second.

Incidentally, did you get an answer to the question "what happened to the scheduled June date for initiation of the NT2 well test?".
