This is what we need clarification of - yes it was never likely that one well would prove economic/commercial on its own BUT when it says that it demonstrates positive economics with artificial lift and 20 - 30 wells.... when does that crossover occur on that path to 20 -30 wells? Of course that will depend upon future well results but funding 20+ wells before positive net cash flow will stretch market patience methinks.

So no, it does not say that Itumbula is commercial but the economics of the calculation for Rukwa are already known, including "artificial lift"

Even if it is $12m per drill Joe (considerably less in reality) that is not that crazy if that investment returns an annual income of $50m per annum in perpetuity? That is a pretty good ROCE - then it is all about the "margin".

But will the interviewer actually ask some pertinent questions this time?! Typically only asks the questions the interviewee wants him to ask.... Number one on the list - How do you expect to fund 20 -30 drills and when? JV, Cap Raise, lease of rig, Blue Star income?
