Will any or all of these come back to the market? I suspect some will (the profit on the "trade" will de-risk the longer term investment) but not all and those being sold might already have hit the market with forward selling; so, "no" I doubt Friday's trading will be instrumental - the last raise saw no such impact on "issue date" and this is a far, far, smaller raise (by percentage and discount) so I would be very surprised to see the issue date have any material or long term impact.

Investace, whilst I broadly agree with your general sentiment (the sp will rise over coming days) I do not think the two circumstances are strictly comparable. The 0.50p raise gave He1 more than sufficient capital to advance the Itumbula work programme and EWT, offering plenty of upside and with no future fund raise on the short term horizon. Whilst I am sure that there is still plenty of upside I am not sure that the market has the same confidence about the short term capital position....

You say that Steward but do consider that He1 has only bought a 50% stake in one of the licences and that is the Galactica/Pegasus Project. This project are in the development phase and expected to generate revenue (between $1.5 - 2.0m) within 12 months (all things being equal), our commitment to those projects is already limited to a max spend and so the downside is limited and cash burn predictable.

But Blubay when does reality or facts, or publicly available information ever get in the way of a good story eh? NOt when you have an sp to ramp or deramp...

Well take a look at the recent placing in June, issued at a 50% discount and with a 30% dilution, the newly issued 1.6 billion shares were churned in two weeks and the sp NEVER went below the issue price. Take a look at the raise on the 6th February a 330m shares issued at a 30% discount of 1.5p and the shares went UP on the day of the announcement and never went below 1.85 in the next month. So why on earth is it nailed on that a small issue with a lowish discount would end up below the issue price?

"None at all" is the answer.....

We saw that NHE had great difficulty raising capital for their recent drill programme in Australia and ASX Helium Explorers have all seen significant falls in SP recently (not only NHE). I suspect that getting capital in AUS for Helium Projects is extraordinarily difficult at present. He1 though being UK AIM listed and with a "successful" project already in Tanzania found it far easier (discount not withstanding).

so scarletvixen the 10th june placing was at a 56% discount and was circa 30% dilution but despite the forward selling of 1.6 bn shares the sp did not reach the placing price and yet this time with only a 30% discount, 10% dilution, and 590m shares issue this time it will go 20% below the issue price?! and that ignores the fact that this placing actually buys he1 shareholders assets and not just fund operations.

Investor007, as Drmike says, and he is correct, the numbers given do not take account of the BPD being under pressure at depth and point of testing, so conversion is not relevant or reliable.

So Drmike, whilst what you say makes perfect sense I do have a question. Previously indications used cubic ft measurements - i.e. 500,000 cubic feet per day. So why not reference the new "numbers" in a similar way to enable comparison? Unless of course the BoD deliberately wish to obfuscate any meaningful comparison by using BPD instead?

Is there a technical reason that they could not do this? Surely they would know what the gas equivalent is in cubic ft?

Well as the average VWAP price over the whole of last week was over 1.6p that is still one hell of a discount, whichever way you look at it.
