So let's have a look at our cheer leader elects "best bet"...
Firstly the "special one" whose arrogant, hypocritical stance is that people should not speculate on timelines that are only known by the BoD of AEX or ARA and yet does so himself whilst clearly NOT having a clue.
My best bet is:
Workover on NT-1 November/December - Drilling CH-1 in December/January?
So does mctripe not even recognise that NT1 is only scheduled to follow the CH1 drill as it will need the CH1 rig in order to do so. The NT2 workover, which might indeed precede the CH1 drill, was supposed to start in June 2024 but we have yet to hear anything about it, so what evidence a November start? Pure speculation.
CH1 drill starting in December/ January and yet we have still to hear anything about identifying the rig, let alone the rig contract, so how feasible is it that a Dec/Jan drill is achievable? So where, the NT1 workover that mctripe anticipates in November? Nonsensical.
Pipeline construction starts early 2025. So the Pipeline tender was due in July and we have seen nothing! Yes I suspect that "summer" got in the way and nothing happens in August but even so, it looks to be behind schedule and no evidence to support a January start - more speculation.
Gas sales start mid 2025. Maybe, let's hope so!
My best bet.
ARA will not put a spade in the ground until TPDC commit to a pipeline initiation date; why else have we not yet seen any work started on the NT2 workover, once scheduled to start in June?
Pipeline will not start until Q1 2025 at the earliest and probably with completion Q2. ARA will start the NT2 workover to coincide with Pipeline completion.
CH1 drill will only happen once the supposed "drill sharing" agreement with a.n.other (supposed M&P) is agreed and then that ARA will play second fiddle on the rig as M&P (if that is who it is) have commitments to complete two drills in 2025.
Production Q3 at the earliest.
I hope mctripe is correct and I am wrong but my conversations at the AGM would appear to have been borne out (so far) whereas other's interpretation of their own conversations seem not to have been. Some have stated that they had been told that the rig would in in country in July and that the Pipeline tender was already signed... well maybe so but there is no evidence of such.
So mctripe speculation maybe but my speculation is as valid as yours and your assumptions have already been seen to be flawed ( Workover on NT-1 November/December Lol!) . So please understand why I won't be relying on your version of our short term AEX future.
