@Prayfor, I put my world weary and cynical faith in the greed of bankers and their thirst for debt.
If this was an INTU, they would wind this up without a moment's hesitation and I wouldn't be here in the first place.
There's a ton of cash in this for them for years to come. So they'll make it work.
Just will be a good few years for LTH's to see any decent ROI.

The back and forth negotiations will be about how much of the future revenue the lenders take and over what amount of time as they have all the power right now.

Streaming is the way forward.
All those rubbish films like Wonder Woman, Dune and erm, James Bond are being held back for cinema. Nobody wants to watch those which is why they're cinema only where nobody will want to go to ever again.
The BIG films like Coming to America 2 are going to streaming where they'll make billions.
Competing with a zillion other subscriptions is not a problem at all in the recession that's going to follow soon. Not at all. No sir.

Echo what others have said, I'd stay out of it until things are more certain.
However, things can change on a dime these days.
Just last month, Boris was saying that everything would be back open for Christmas. Now look at us.
He could change tack again this time next month just the same.
Also, call me a tin foil hat wearing conspirasist but I reckon the landscape will change real quick once the U.S election is over and done which will see the Moderna vaccine greenlit shortly after. Whatever your thoughts are on Trump are, I think the holdback of vaccine news is politically motivated to damage him.
But that's another story.
Thing is this share is not for the faint of heart.
It all seems gloomy at the moment but just a hint of vaccine news or covenant waivers being granted and this will rocket up.
Will sink like a lead weight to nothing if not though.
If I was new here, I'd stay well out of it.
But I know the public will return to type once this is over and am fairly confident in a deal to keep Cine solvent and the vaccine magically appearing after the election.
All my own opinion.

Banks only exist through earning interest on debt.
Without debt, there's no point in operating.
It's the entire basis of our financial system.
If there was no future income in Cine, I'd be out.
But there is.
The certainty of many more years of repayments means liquidity is all but assured here.

It's been said before LOADS of companies thrive on debt. Look at most Premier League clubs. Half of them continuosly operate year after year on hundreds of millions of debt.
The situation at Cine is a dream for the lenders.
Guaranteed massive income for the cinemas when it opens back up, deal to take most of the profits with massive interest until debt is paid.
Absolutely zero value and short sightedness in folding up.
Oh, and Jangho lurking in the background just in case.

I genuinely expected a RNS yesterday / today of them dumping out after Monday's buy like they did last time.

SP not moved either so they're still in the game.

They're either waiting for a bigger SP rise to cash out or they want the estate.

Impossible to know until anything official is said.
It's my own opinion but can't see any situation that sees this going under completely.
Too many affected parties and indeed an entire multi billion industry intrinsically linked to it.
Unlike traditional high street retail like INTU and indeed (sigh) Carpetright, this was a money making machine until Covid hit and will be once more when it starts up again.
It's in no-one's interest to let it tank.
The fall out from that would be seismic to Hollywood.
I'm genuinely fascinated by it all since investing in here.
SP is going up as I type.
Either Jangho are buying in again to increase their stake or their friends are managing a healthy sell price for them.
If it drops this afternoon, it's the latter.

Was vey attracted by EUA.
The owners are openly looking for buyers.
The board there are of the opnion that the buyout is imminent.
Massive gamble though. If the buy does not materialise then the SP will slide back down from today's historical highs.
Absolute party time if it does though.

I'm also in RYA and NEX for my other recovery plays.
Rest of my potrfolio is boring.

Read the RNS, looking promising but just noticed the massive sells going through this morning.
Why would they do that so close to a buy-out?

@boix, you were a solid and respected contributor here.
I don't think it's too far of a push to assume you got spooked and sold your holding at a loss and are now wanting reassurance that you made the right choice.
It's only human.
It could be said that myslef and others post here for the opposite reasons, although I've always maintained that cautionary advice is best received from those already invested.
Spamming the board with worst case scenarios and wipe outs when not invested is bad form.
At the best, it can be taken from non-investors when presented properly but most of the time, posts here can hardly hide their sheer delight at people losing money. On both sides. I've been guilty of it myself during the heated past but regretted it after.
If you short - fine, we're here to make money. No need to revel in other's misery.
However, I and I i suspect many others are in this to the end, if we do indeed crash out then that's our choice. C'est la vie.
But Boix, I really do hope you've got enough back to invest elsewhere and are successful in your future investments.
I'm slowly building up in NEX as my steady, reliable girlfriend should this mental but ridiculously hot chick of a share end up in the asylum!

They probably bought a load at the low end on Monday morning.
Expect another RNS tomorrow to say they sold out at the high yesterday thanks to their 'friends'.
If it sticks though, that will be a real plot twist.

I've invested what I can afford to lose in this share in the same way, you SHOULD take only a set amount of play money into the casino.
Never chase losses / go to the cash machine.
BUT I really do feel that this will pull through.

Lenders (HSBC et al) will prefer to see this out as the business is a GUARANTEED cash cow once it's back up and running.
Rights issue is a last resort, Mooky goes down with us if so.
Vulture studios / Chinese investors will be watching like a hawk.
If it goes bust, the studios lose the estate as property gets *****d out. Can't see them letting that slip.
This ain't traditional retail that was on its arse like INTU, high street retail.
Humans will revert back to social interaction/ nights out at the first opportunity.

Not just about CINE but all affected businesses and people crippled by the C-Virus have a very real case to bring a Class Action Lawsuit against governments once it is proven that the PCR tests for Covid-19 are defective products in the diagnosis of infection.
If a company in the west decides to sue for damages, if this happens, then the affected parties worldwide (even down to the individual) will be informed through the media and have the opportunity to join the Class Action Lawsuit.
This is going to be huge.
