Studios cannot hold onto their releases for much longer in fear of cannibalising the 2021 schedule or going up against bigger named films.
Basically, the studios are waiting on CA and NY to open up and then they'll release.
Also - Scaremongering / Social Division creating headlines from the mainstream media in the UK are of so little relevance to this share as to be almost non-existent.
I'd be docking the pay of our rampant derampers If I was their employer.

@RS, the even more annoying thing is that fear was based on UK news.
Our focus should be primarily on the U.S as that's where 75% of our cinemas are.
If people were really driven to fear about news in a country where a small proprtion of our business operates in, they have obviously done ZERO research and/or need their heads read.
All eyes should be on Cali / NY, the 24th results and the U.S election as key drivers for movement on this share.
Not the goddam 'rule of six' in our little backwater. Jeez.

If you ask him a really tricky question, he goes quiet for a bit while he asks his paymasters to message him the correct response.
In short for any new arrivals here - this share attracts LOADS of posters who talk the share down but are not invested here. It doesn't take Sherlock to figure out why.
It's a long term hold this one.

THE UK COVID NEWS MEANS F-ALL IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS FFS.
75% of our business is in the U.S and they're opening more and more.
What happens on these shores is piddling news to this share.

The market seems to be highly sensitive to any Covid news. And why would it not?
It's why we're all in this sorry mess to start with.
So the SP took one of those dips today.
Looking further afield, the significant waypoints for this share are:
- 24th September results. Will give everyone a clearer picture of Cine's ability to ride out the next 6 - 12 months. We all know it will be grim on face value but will also show us how well Cine has managed cash burn during closure. That will give confidence or not to investors and the market at large to back up Mooky's words.
- Vaccine news. As we saw today, the market reacts badly to even sensationalist negative headlines. Positive vaccine news will have the polar positive effect.
- U.S election. 75% of our buisness is stateside. Markets hate uncertainty. Once that is decieded, the SP should jump up somewhat.
- Brexit. For the same reason as above. Uncertainty. Until the trade deal is agreed (or not), that will also have an effect on the FTSE.
- Court case v Cineplex. Although I expect that to be settled out of court, it is still an uncertainty that will weigh against the SP.
So a lot of headwinds. Especially for short term investors. Long term though, I believe this to be a solid investment.
All the uncertainties mentioned above will eventually be bypassed.
The big one for me is the 24th results.
Mooky has stated that Cine has the reserves to see out a second wave and even more if needs be.
If his words don't match the numbers, then questions will have to be asked.
If the figures match up, however and I don't think of a man of his standing will want to damage his reputation by being seen as anything but otherwise - this will simply be a matter of sitting in tight for a year or two.
Not one for the short term investors. Good fun to be had for day traders up until then.

The shorters / derampers on here are an insidious, spiteful bunch.
However, that's the shark tank we choose to swim in.
I'm all for cautionary posts and genuine points of view when presented and articulated with integrity.
For the most part though, their rhetoric is spiteful and transparent. Paid derampers.
It's obvious how they disappear under their rocks when there's rise. Crawl back out on any dips.
I'll give indepth some credit insofar that he's always here no matter what like a pantomine villain.
But to re-iterate, this is a dog eat dog world. If people get spooked out by their scare stories, then it's a harsh lesson.
But is why I also try to come on here when I can to bash the loser derampers back down into the depths.

I day traded off RR with pretty much the same pattern when covid first hit and the market was all over the place.
I only played it for a week as I felt I was pushing my luck too much!

It ain't going broke. Mooky said CINE can ride out a second full lockdown and there's more in the reserves even after that if needs be.
But on the other side, it ain't going to rocket any time soon either.
Surely your research has shown you this?
If you were thinking about investing here, you'd have done so today or in the 30's last month.
This has gone dark. It's a long term hold.
Why don't you invest in one of the 'plenty of other good stocks that are out there', to use your own words?
Or you can just sit in here trying to spook out newbies of their holdings as that's what your paymasters want.
