n4aPound, how is "getting rid of our CEO going to improve matters? Our encumbant boss is surely well known in Morocco & to the wider O&G market. He supervised the building of our Company & all the partners related to it. I believe he sincerely wants to make good on his promise of a company sale. Why change horses in mid-stream? With his shareholding & years of commitment to the cause of opening a new hydrocarbon provincle in East Morocco, it is difficult for me to see any leader other than James Parsons with the same incentives to finally make good to Sound shareholders! He led us to where we are & he will ultimately see shareholders right with a company sale. He is the right man for the job...'Johnny come lately' need not apply!

Mr Cautious, why should a rise like that be a matter for the FCA.? If it was a P&D then how can that be regulated...its a disfunction of the AIM & one of the few ways anyone makes any money, despite it being unpalatable for most, who are just trying to earn an honest crust...........

Seaton, I'm already ensconsed in my favourite viewing chair gazing out over the glorious South Downs with a cold one reading 'The Looming Tower'. At this moment I have not a care in the world & that definitely includes not worrying about Sound or Omar and his possible 'previous'!

Glad I am where I am & not at Glastonbury...been there (festivals and gigs), got the Tshirts - so now it's time to relax, take it easy and soak up the sun....

Jez, you are right, we have to explore all options & keep open minds! But surely your skills would be better employed serving spam & chips to the tech boys...they're gonna need their 'brain-food'!!

My point being is Sound could employ Omar to consult. He could advise & the Sou/Shclum partners could then make a decision as to whether Omar is even remotely in-step with our technical thinking. It couldn't cost much up-front and who knows what it could lead to.

Omar, so what roughly would your terms be for helping Sound to locate their next well? Do you have a record of previous success that you can prove to Sound Energy?

My roots are Yorkshire - Osset, Wakefield & Normanton...but I was born in Sussex & thankfully not in the mould of typical forthright Yorkshiremen who mostly feel their county is 'God's own' & that the Universe revolves around it! As I grew up I found Yorkshire folk too full of their own opinions & way too self-confident in their own self-contained paradise. I do often admire those traits but I could never emulate them & I could never be that blunt or self-righteous.

Partridge, thanks for posting that chart...it perfectly illustrates my point...that we have had dark days before when folk got spiked on the way up to 6.7 (67p). We ultimately recovered under James Parsons & we can do it again...this time from a much stronger position.

Randomaxe, put it this way: the share price (pre 10-1 consolidation) had been about 1p before it rapidly rose to 6.7p in mid 2011, only to eventually fall to 0.4p. But what differentiates those dark days from todays grim fall is we now have valuable acreage and funding. We have realistic (imo) Hope, whereas back in the earlies it seemed, at times, hopeless. But then James turned it around & slowly hope returned & we had genuine prospects. Granted, the excitement among shareholders & Sound staff was at times effusive and infectious...such was the relief all around! I believe we can turn our situation to our advantage again. James has proved himself once...with our coveted Moroccan acreage - he can do it again!
