Jez, sorry, not being deliberately opaque about my views. I now have some funds available & if the SP drops to around 8p I will add another 50-100,000 shares. But I must stress I only know what you guys know & there are no hints from HQ. I feel we have value, certainly enough to make money from 8p shares...beyond that, who knows! But I am confident with enough cash and a couple of rigs a bigger company could unlock the secrets of Tendrara & I am betting there will be interest. There are too many whiffs of gas on our license to ignore...

He is more than happy to answer questions that are not connected with our present marketing initiative. Please keep it civil & I'm sure you will get a reply. I did talk about maybe holding a conference but when you think about it most questions would be related to issues he is not presently allowed to comment on so understandably that is not being considered at present.

Partridge, you are of course implying that our once lauded CEO has backed himself into a corner by stating he is a deal-maker. But if the price he is offered is not reccommendable should he then resign or be 'ousted' by the Board? Or should he finish what he started & continue with Sound Energie's drill plan - maybe raising more CAPEX cash? What would I do in his position, taking into account ECCO & CORRO: I would stay & try to rebuild my reputation - but definitely not quit! Whether he will be able to be the master of his/our destiny is yet to be played out...............

Another interesting point is his reference to the 'Nomination Committe'. They are our board of governors & can make recommendations regarding our CEO & his future in a post- marketing world. He of course has to decide his own future but he will well remember how he ousted previous encumbant, 'Merry Ordeal'. Woodrow, talking of 'Mariine style number one hair cuts, I'm off on Thursday to see 'The Final Cut' of Coppola's masterpiece 'Apocalypse Now'! That should be a real treat! Tomorrow I see the latest Tarantino epic 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', widely reported to be his Magnus Opus....with such a terrific cast & review I can't wait to see it! To cap it off 'Jaws' is showing for a one-off at my local cinema....compelling as I only ever saw it on TV! It sill remind me of the shark I swam with off Tortola in January..........

Exploration, that may be so but by comparison to other fields & basins there have been so few wells drilled - even taking Morocco as a whole. Science can tell you so much but the drill bit is the ultimate arbitrator of that science!

I think one very salient aspect of his reply is at the end when he states " Every shareholder will have their own entry point depending on when they bought - we will assess alternatives ultimately against net asset value". What does "we will assess alternatives" mean in this context? Alternative offers or alternative options? If the former then this seems to mean that shareholder entry points will not be a consideration as NAV is ultimately the driving force in this deal. That's fair enough but does it suggest that some will ultimately lose out or face severe haircuts............

Exploration, you state "There are a couple of sweet spots near SBK and TE-5 - and that’s it". I just cannot find that credible but you state it as though it were 'fact'! As a matter of fact, we investors do not know this as fact at all! If it were fact there may well be queues at local piers & tall buildings to toss ourselves off! That's too much of a leap for me at the moment but thanks for your complete traversal & rebuttal of your previously optimistic thoughts ...I'm totally imbued with confidence now!

Jezz, before you say - yes the leg hurts like hell but the tail is still wagging away, despite Exploration just shooting down our whole license exploration prospects!

Jez, just tuning in but to be honest I haven't been looking in all that much because of the sciatic pain I have been enduring lately, compounded by an allergic reaction to a spider (I think) bite which temporarily left me looking like the 'Elephant Man'!
Anyway, the following is a reply from JP on the 14th August to some queries I had. When I asked him about our current NAV he referred me to the independent report on the website -

"Evening Kirk. You may recall we last year announced that I confirmed to the Board that I would not leave for a period of 12 to 18 months. Today’s announcement (the part relating to me at least) was required to update on that as the 18 months had passed. We confirmed today that I would see the marketing process through (which is kind of obvious in the sense that leaving part way through a deal would be very strange for everyone). We haven’t guided on life post the marketing process consciously but we will ofc update in due course (partly it will I guess depend on what comes out of the marketing process). The balance will of course be between what the Nominations Committee believe is best for the Company, what I want to do as an employee and what shareholders (who ultimately vote on Directors) want.

For now we are entirely focused on the marketing process. Our role here is to maximise value for the shareholders which means getting the best deal we can (balancing price, risk and structure). Every shareholder will have their own entry point depending on when they bought - we will assess alternatives ultimately against net asset value".

Hey Raredragon, great to see you posting again. What you have endured is a recurring nightmare to me - that I could suffer a stroke. Most people lead lives that are unhealthy - my sister died of a brain embolism so I do empathise.

History is of course subjective. It is written from the perspective of those who lived through whatever period is being remembered & by people who did not. By nature it is multifaceted & can be viewed from many different angles. I don't expect you to understand my experience but you should understand that there is always more than one way of looking at an event or an ongoing series of events. What you perceive to be truth & reality someone else will see the opposite, counterpoint. From my perspective James made the right decision & I continue to be hopeful we will all make money, or at least not lose any. What if JP had taken the money...do you think there would have been a different outcome? This is AIM & he tried his best. He purchased a potentially world-class asset & assembled a suitable team to explore it. My view is unchanged: AIM is a lottery & we could have won big. We gave ourselves the best odds we could but the 6 numbers didn't show up...maybe 4 or even 5 numbers will yet prove profitable!

Jez, Raedragon is correct when he says £50 million was rejected. It was not a formal offer but something that was casually conveyed (probably over the phone or at a lunch somewhere). I was at the Shard with James a few years back when he told me. We were having lunch over a few drinks. At the time I wondered if he shouldn't follow it up but he was adamant that our license was worth more to us than £50 million. We hadn't even drilled TE6 but there was plenty of excitement. From my perspective on the 31st floor of the Shard & Sound being capped around £14 million the enthusiasm James was emitting at the dinner table soon won me over! History proves he made the righ decision.

BTW, Jez, Job, I think it is high time you guys kissed, made up & got a room ffs!

WWW, with respect...you're full of sheit! Shell were prepared (unnoficially) to pay £50 million for our east morrocan acreage before we even spudded our 1st Tendrara well! I know that sounds anecdotal but I heard from the horses mouth. It didn't take them long (a couple of months) soon after we acquired those licenses for them to surround us with their own new acquisitions. I am in no doubt they are interested & will be part of the bidding process!

Scarf, I will be looking to buy more shares when funds allow. I think it most unlikely we wont have had any real interest, after all, there have been presentations to over 10 parties so far. Whatever bids we might get will, imo, be at least 3x current value & likely a bit more. The risk is we reject them as being too low. But then the sweetener would be contingency payments to wrap the deal up. Anyway, I might add a further 100,000 shares for under £9k as it seems we may get news sometime before hop-tu-naa (Halloween or Brexit Day if you prefer).......
