I have met probably many more Sound investors than you & I can guarantee you no one would share your views! I am an amiable cove who loves the South Downs & never met anyone I did not like or who took objection to me. You, on the other hand, are probably totally oposite. I live freely, happily & carefree. Whoever I meet I like to make a good impression & never project negative vibes. I am optimistic, friendly & always well meaning. Ecos, I did say at the end of my post that others will have had different experiences & of course I sympathise with anyone who loses money on the AIM! I lost a few grand on NEW & recently delisted Swedish Stock Exchange company Matra! Where will they next list? I shudder to think it could be right here again!
Jez, those canvass photos were taken by a really nice investor called Pete (last name witheld) & his pics were also used for advertising purposes. They are of TE6 era & are top quality. The Company had some mounted on canvass & they grace the walls of HQ!

Jez, I am hoping to pop into 'TCF HQ' on 30th October for a coffee & chat...maybe say farewell to whatever staff are left & have one of those canvass rig pictures off the wall when no one is looking! What a momento for me that would be! I had such a great time as a Sound Energy investor. How many opportunities in life does one get to climb onto an oil/gas rig in an area of the world you would never think of visiting? How rich was the experience of spending time in Oujda in the company of some very interesting & extremely likeable fellow investors & company staffers! I will never forget my visits to Morocco or being able to speak at the Shard from an investor viewpoint & then post-Shard drinks in Borrough Market. Getting to know Sound employees & especially James, who I always fealt & still feel has shareholder interests at heart & has tried to build a company from nothing! I do accept others have an understandably different perspectives & experiences regarding their investment & risk but I can only relate my experience as a Sound Oil/Energy investor.

Esox, I am even thinking about adding to my CORO at the expense of buying any more Sound! probably have to do some research first though.

Hi Lyndon & Woodrow, I will be in Sevenoaks next week but will only have time for a quick coffee & hi as my schedule that day is pretty full. But if it all works out I will of course post later that day or the next. Don't expect any confessions as I am not 'expecting the Spanish Inquisition'...although nobody EXPECTS the Spanish Inquisition - except those poor Catalonian Separatists who received a medieval-like sentence......

Seaton, obviously I am considering my position in the light of these rumours & what my severance package might amount to? Probably not even a "hill of beans", as one famous ham once proclaimed! However, litigation is an option as I feel I may have been misled when I took the position of 'Head of Positivity' as even back then I am dubious as to what there was to be positive about! I never once saw a prospect inventory or any CPRs...just a whole load of spam & chips! For sure there were plenty of whiffs of gas but that turned out to be more biological than Natural - there was nothing 'natural' about the gas given off by the Directors!! I always felt it had a slightly bovine tint about it......

Seaton, I'm not sure but I think 'Chuckle gas' might be in receivership talks. I think the bubble finally burst & creditors ultimately realised the gas was nothing more than hot air...but as yet, this is unconfirmed & we await a statement from the 'Chuckles'! Obviously, as 'Head of Optimism', I am slightly concerned there is nothing much to be optimistic about any more. Reports of a late influx of important emails from the 'Receivers' sent to the Chuckles being directed to their Spam Bin are as yet, unconfirmed!

As it happens, over the years, I have extensively read Alexandre Solzhenitsyn: 'The First Circle' & 'The Gulag Archipelogo' are two very special books for me. The 'Gulag' is my joke & personal appreciative nod to that wonderful exiled author who exposed 'Uncle Joe' Stalin for what he was...but in a wonderfully sardonic & often brutal reality! Peasants such as yourself should appreciate the irony of my use of the word 'Gulag'! It's a joke you don't get & judging by your previous posts, you never will!
