Jez, it is in deed quaint...but I am no longer affiliated to any political party. I am, however, not sure yet who to vote for in my safe Tory constituency regarding Brexit assurance: whether to vote Brexit Party & risk splitting the vote, allowing the Lib Dems to take our parliamentary seat...or not - that is 'my' question?

Testpack, I have not sold any shares & your allegation that I had 'information' regarding timing of LE or any other such deal from that meeting - which was attended by a Lawyer - is bordering on the slanderous. You then offer support in some sort of shareholder coup you imagine might happen that I might be persuaded to put my name to. But I will be voting for this deal because to vote no is to vote for nothing...in the absence of knowledge of those 15 "non-binding offers" what is our alternative? As for who is our CEO in 2020 post-signature of the "Proposed Transaction"...I sincerely hope it is James Parsons!

Hi Flamemaker, no, not the kind of deal that most here wanted or expected- except maybe Testpack...but it is a fully funded deal. My guess is the second farm-down one year hense signatures will be the funding for the exploration wells at TE11 & SBK1 etc. This last prospect has something in the region of 600 BCF of gas according to Brian when last we spoke at TCF HQ. It also presents less risk then re-entering or re-drilling TE2,which with inadequate & historic data is seen as far more risky. We have around half a dozen exciting drill-ready prospects so quite a lot to play for. I guess once first production milestone is reached we can start drilling out those prospects...as Partridge often says..."exciting times". But as usual we will probably have to wait for the potential upside to be exposed to us! In the meantime, the downside is mitigated by the full carry to 1st gas!!

Foxy..."the buyer is the seller"...how can a CEO sell company assets to another company he has interests in and indeed just founded? Completely illegal! Any connection to JP in regard to interests in the buyer, however opaque, would be at very best immoral & quite possibly against the rules. Have your day in the sun by all means but suggesting the "buyer is the seller" is beyond the pale!

KTF, I never believed any transaction would complete in December as this month is traditionally fairly quiet for us & it would make more sense to complete a deal in the New Year - besides that we are famously lax on timelines (this being O&G). There really is nothing to be suspicious about.
On another note, I am of course mortified to have been sacked as 'Head of Positivity' at Chuckle Energy.

KTF, I haven't said anything because whatever I say gets twisted. In answer to your earlier post, I have not sold any shares, neither have I bought any more. If & when I do I will of course post as that is what I have always previously done. BTW, I spoke at the Shard Event & that film was never publicly published or posted on Youtube. I am pleased that we have been informed that the 100% CAPEX requirement is $250 million & that we are fully carried but as yet no real insight as to whether exploration wells fall within that remit.

Testpack, what on earth are you on about stating we haven't been and exploration company in the last 6 months? Just because we have suspended drilling operations doesn't mean we have totally renounced or retired from exploration!
As for our equity stake...all part of the risk & most here were more than happy we had such a large interest in what is a promising licence. In the success case it would have proved amazing. As it is it will still be very attractive to a buyer!

Jez, I'm not implying anything regarding the current share price. I have no idea about company timeframes - only aspirational timelines that, as we know in the O&G game ,can slip. IMV hydrocarbon E&P time has little bearing on GMT.........

Jez, my final top-up hasn't yet happened because I just haven't been bothered to transfer the funds. In my mind, there is still plenty of time to make that decision & ample opportunity for the sp to drop to a more accommodating price...say nearer to 7p or below. I will probably wait until December or even January as that could be the nadir of the share price prior to FID...but knowing our track record on timelines that might well be premature...it's always anyones guess when trying to time a trade!

testpack, it all sounds very rosy but we would have our share of partnership commitments to finance 4 production wells & the necessary associated infrastructure. Apart from those costs, we have near due loan repayments to add! Our 47.5 % equity was always a double-edged sword: fine in the success case when you take nearly half of the profit but if you find you have to drill further then that 47.5% actually becomes something of a financial burden in terms of increased CAPEX. In hindsight maybe our seemingly large equity stake was something of a millstone in that we only committed to a three-well program (only 2 in real terms so far) when many more wells were almost certainly needed & maybe farming down could have been the right way to go for such a huge project.....

Or conversely, victoria sponge = Victory & Mince pies signify Christmas - Victory by Christmas! Anything can be spun, especially whatever I say or seemingly eat these days...lol!

Jez, I dont get your reasoning on us "going long"? The Boot & Feed & GSA has been their stated plan ever since the LE was first mooted. Raising cash for our share of the 4 production wells & the gas separating plant is hardly feasible for a company of our size...you are talking millions...possibly over $40 milion. Getting hold of that kind of finance would require some very innovative thinking!

Simon, just to be clear I would like to point out that the mince pies were actually Marks & Spencers!
