Jez & Simon...you truly are the 'glimmer twins' of AIM! Entertaining but rather long winded...just like the 'Stones' Anyway, you are mostly harmless & you and your detractors should kiss & make up. Jones, once again for the last time - I am not "drawing down" on my SIPP! I am still working! But more pertinently, aren't we all here to make money? I was upfront & honest about my sale of a few shares to pay off the mortgage - I didn't have to say anything but folk like you make me wish I never had! I have more than replaced the shares I sold & am very pleased I made a really decent profit. That's the name of the AIM game in case it escaped you! AIM is tough enough but as stated in that excellent video that Mrcautious posted, you have to have a plan! I am taking the lessons of 'see a profit, take a profit' to heart in any future dealings on the AIM! I might even start using 'Stop Losses'....................

PNE, was that a rhetorical question to Jones (Neptunes)? I still can't fathom why he thought I cried at an investor event...must have been crying with laughter with one of the many fine chaps whom I have met over the years at these events...

Drule, I can tell you what I hope we will get for our shares: 30-40p minimum with a further contingent payment upon future discoveries. But I do think future contingency payments will be part of any deal & that seems the right way to go for both buyer & seller. Any buyer would be happy to pick up a relative bargain with the knowledge they may have to pay more if succesfull. After all, there could be plenty of gas in East Morocco so it could still be win, win. Of course that would mean dragging it out like Brexit...but at least we stand to get a reasonable deal where as Brexit is a complete fark up! Any deal struck now with the EU will be a complete betrayal of those who voted leave!

'Judgment day' is approaching - but I agree it is not now. As you all know I have supported Jame's efforts all along our fascinating journey. He built a company with some great partnerships that could have gone on to be very successful - but ultimately, as is common in this industry, we suffered from some bad luck with the last few wells. I agree that the enthusiasm for Tendrara was at times over the top but in the early days the possibilities seemed endless & the optimism was indeed infectious. I'm sure it was difficult for the company to contain their excitement. But we can now only hope that we have done enough scientific work to justify a reasonable sale price that sees most shareholders recoup their hard-earned investment cash! When, if that day comes, is when CEO James Parsons will ultimately be judged!

It was a real pleasure visiting Wales for the first time! Pitty I couldnt have met up with Gasbag in Powys Castle but the timings were not right for a meet. Snowdonia & Portmeirion were my highlights & meeting the very friendly Welsh folks, whom I loved listening to speaking Cymraeg! I stood between the columns at Portmeirion & shouted (quietly) "I'm not a number! I'm a free man!" Wow that place is special & should be seen to be believed!

Quartered safe out hear near Welshpool. Weather atrocious this morning but this is my birthday & I have been drinking champagne, despite the agony of my suspected sciatica, which has almost incapacitated me. Trellis, I'm very sorry to hear that. I report anything genuinely & from the heart. I truly believe, from my perspective, that James transformed an almost bankrupt or at least nearly insolvent company, into a going concern that had/has genuine prospects:

As for the last phrase in that much quoted reply when James says "I suppose"...he said to me when I enquired..."I wouldn't get too hung up on the precise wording". As for Judas & Peter you have obviously got me down as Peter the Disciple & so by comparison to Judas I take the compliment that was obviously meant.

Tapper, I'm no mug - I know full well when my democratic rights are about to be trampled on! I'm not about to lie down or sit up & beg for that 2016 referendum result to be honoured...I'm with Johnson & Farage & will once again do what it takes to see the will of the majority is upheld . If that means campaigning again, so be it!

As for Sound, I was chatting with James last night & summing up he simply said "it's my job to make sure we do get a bid & it's also my job we dont get into a plan B, C or D outcome". He then said with compassion & conviction that he was "working hard for investors & that he honestly always did". He realises that his continued tenure as CEO is determined ultimately by the Board & shareholders & that there are options in the market place if that was desired...but he wasnt in a defeatist mood . I said I was more than happy with his progress post Gerry Orbell & that he should definitely carry on & finish what he started. He certainly has my 100% backing & I am confident he should continue to be the CEO & deliver the 'LE' that he always said he would!

Trellis, I'm actually going to Powys & the environs...we wont be able to get to Angelsea.. .where, according to my friend who was born there...the real Welsh are from! I've got my phrase book, interpreter & witty rejoinders, should I need them....

Trellis, but how the majority of Parliamentarians have the cheek to accuse Borris of abusing democracy when they want to suppress the will of the majority who won the 2016 referendum by totally negating it is beyond me: democracy cuts both ways!

n4, I marked up your post because most here appreciate any email exchanges with HQ that are posted here at LSE. Your questions were phrased in a direct & polite manner, which is what I invited investors to do just a few days ago. I said if you write & keep it polite you should get an answer - or at least a reply. I know James is keen to do what he can to communicate what is permissable within AIM rules but understandably (within that framework) a phone/PC conference would not be appropriate at this sensitive time. That's absolutely correct Soundingoff, as James stated in a recent communication with me: "For now we are entirely focused on the marketing process. Our role here is to maximise value for the shareholders which means getting the best deal we can (balancing price, risk and structure). Every shareholder will have their own entry point depending on when they bought - we will assess alternatives ultimately against net asset value".

Mrcautious' I'm not "telling people there is hope" so much as I am saying don't sell now & lose more than you have to. We are rock bottom admittedly but selling at a loss doesn't make sense to me when we have risen & there is still the chance to regain losses & even make a profit. We have to rebuild from the ashes of disappointment...just ask Joe Root, Ben Stokes & Sussex bowler/legend Jofrey Archer how it is done...............there is always a chance whilst the game is still on!

Mr Cautious, so by recommending people "don't stay on board" it is axiomatic you are advocating most sell at potentially huge losses, negating the chance to at least recover some, or maybe most of their investment, if the Company is sold. Why would you offer such advise? Very few make money at these prices if they sell but at least while the sale process is ongoing there is still hope. We have some very promising acreage that I am sure has value well above what we are currently valued at!
