Portsmouth, now that Frank Timis epitomised the worst of AIM when CEO of Regal Petroleum he lied to investors about a failed well. But later somehow got his hands on off-shore Senagalese blocks and literally robbed the people of Senegal, whilst paying zero tax in Britain! The man should be investigated thoroughly and if found guilty of tax evasion, locked up! BP come out of it stinking of anything but Roses.........

Jones (Neptines), you you try and make out I have made loads of money with Sound, referencing cars and cruises...but I have never relied on the stock market for my comforts...I made my money buying, renovating & selling houses. Hard work & hard earned cash that I am reluctant to see ebb away, like the tide.........

Shaun, yes it is prety obvious Jones is Neptunes...I seem to remember Jones was outed some months ago. Like seaweed on the shore that permeates the air with an unpleasant, all prevailing pungent aroma, Neptunes washes ashore in the guise of a welshman...only he reeks of something else! He's a gutless imposter who cant even admit who he was & who he is...............

Pontcanna, that would figure if Jones is Neptunes (I also think he is) because Neptunes favourite hobby horse was me selling a few shares to pay my mortgage. Something he and one or two others conveniently forget is I was totally transparant at the time. I made my intentions public when I sold those few shares. I didn't have to say a word & some of my close Sound LSE friends criticised me for wearing my heart on a sleeve and being way too honest...but that is my character, fault though it may be!

Shed, so what you are essentialy saying is those ducks have turned into turkeys lining up & chickens coming home to roost!! The dreams have turned into nightmares & the golden tickets are about as much use as a Deutschmark was in the Weimar Republic! Yet there is still hope - that's all we can do for now unless most are prepared to sell at a big loss! I'm not prepared to sell at 11p & will wait & see what the 'Deal Maister' & Rothchilds can do for us poor, beleaguered shareholders.......

Shaun, I met Malcy for the first time at the Shard just before I was on-stage for my investor talk. I met him again at the TE7 investor trip. I found him honest & congenial & I believe him when he says he is impartial & does not hold shares in the companies he reports on. He was categoric & insistent in front of us few investors at Heathrow Airport Lounge prior to that trip: I believed him then & I still do. A man of his experience knows the risks associated with his stock in trade...

n4aPound, there is no 'Crudehope gang'...only in your imagination. But there are disappointed LTH & anxious investors. I'm not the 'Pied Piper' leading the rats to their doom...I'm just one of many investors in Sound & AIM in general that am struggling to make a decent profit, whilst trying to avoid hemorrhaging hard earned cash! Many AIM punters know the score or the odds when it comes to O&G & have been part of some horrific failures, of which there are a whole litany on this market! Sound have a valuable asset & if Rothchilds & James can create a market we have value...ever watched 'Flog It' on TV...if you have what the bidders want you are in business!!

As for ducks...I think they were finally overwhelmed at TE10 before they could form a proper line...drowned before their time! Or maybe the water ingress went 'off the ducks backs & they just need to shake those feathers out & start lining up again. What we need is a duck formation supported by golden egg laying geese who specialise in desert dreams...not mirages...lol!

WWW, "nothing has changed"...what planet are you on? For starters, we have since verified 640 BCF of gas at the horst & demonstrated the horizontal drill concept can prove very profitable when it comes to drilling fewer holes for greater quantities, thereby reducing CAPEX! We have greater equity in the project then we had & have drilled wells that have provided much useful information, not to mention an ariel gravity survey & that seismic survey & a Gas Sales Agreement...but apart from all that not much has changed eh!!

Jones, we were recently told there were 12 decent prospects & of course the infamous 'Veyron Zone'. I don't doubt the gas is there but we haven't seen how all these breakdown in quantities via a CPR & of course we have no idea how accessible the gas is. James said the other day it will need a big company working 2 rigs & drilling 4-5 wells a year...let's see how much interest there is from those internationals or even medium-sized companies. They will ultimately decide if we are sitting on sought after acreage...

Exploration, yes that is one area that has bothered me from the start. There was never any independent verification of our prospect portfolio & we were therefore taking it all on trust. But as Schlumberger are our partners & they have conducted the seismic work, which has also seen Sheerwater analysing it, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I did wonder at the reasons offered for not independently verifying as we were just told there is no real reason why we should & in any case it is an unnecessary expense. With that I put it to the back of my mind & thought you guys obviously know best. Whether the reasons are as simple as that or there is something more sinister associated with the actual seismic job may never be known. But since then I, like you, thought hang on...we private investors have very little idea about our license area. There are many grey areas that may only come to light post a company/asset sale but I still trust that our whole package is worth considerably more than our current value...time will tell!

Fair enough PNE...I was actually there & I remember Saleem filming it. But it is a touchy subject filming AGMs & most, if not all companies, will warn you not to do it. But the rules don't apply to Saleem (he slipped under the radar), who has been an absolute star & invaluable source of journalism for Sound Energy investors!!
