Off topic but is anyone watching the Sky Atlantic series 'Chernobyl'? It is scarily good as the disaster unfolds & the real nature of the catastrophe becomes clear to the grey suits at the Kremlin & in particular the people of Ukraine & Belarus, who ultimatedly realised with horror what they were dealing with & how it was slowly killing them. It is compulsive viewing!

If not, thanks for your advice. I think we have the gist of what you are saying now so please let us detain you no further. I'm quite sure you have sage advise for a whole multitude of AIM company investors - but even though you will probably have to go & dispense that vital knowledge soon enough...still it was a treat to hear about your £5k profit here at Sound..............

On another note...the latest RNS certainly had most here (including me) excited...I thought this must be what it is like to drop a blue pill...but sure enough Sound, true as ever, are a lousy aphrodisiac. After re-reading the RNS I felt as deflated as a blow-up doll that has just been gang banged! Are we ever going to get a rise...

I guess much depends on the risk appetite of the buyer plus how much they are convinced by the scientific information they would be privy to in a negotiation. If if all stacks up how much will they give us for the prospective assets. How will TE10 be valued? Mid case? Add to that the GSA, the 10 year tax holiday & the much greater volumes that can be produced from each well at the Horst (115 bcf Instead of 40 and maybe even more once the final pressure build up is finally assessed). There are just too many factors for anyone to just dismiss the sale price as little more than £1. I personally feel that once all the parts of this jigsaw have been assembled with the pipeline, GSA, permits and it's all boxed up, bow tied & ready to plug and play....we will be worth multi-billions! £3 billion or more will seem cheap when a big multi-national starts drilling!

Seemingly great news if we are wrapping it up in.East Morocco - maybe this hint is designed to get the share price moving prior to sale negotiations!

Gasman, I would love to buy everyone a drink but at this present time I am comfortably off but not yet rich enough to stand all drinks. I leave that pleasure to James & co for now. BTW, I did not 'sell off'...I realised a profit & more than replaced the shares I sold...this is not a crime: the crime is to lose money or not take a profit when one presents itself. In any case I was totally transparent about selling a few shares and explained my reasons at the time. AIM can be a rough place to try and make money so anyone that does should be encouraged...not burned at the stake as a witch!

Mebo, Rocket Racoon, Moroccoknows and I will be meeting up in the 'Barrowman & Banker' in Borough High Street. There will be others joining us I am sure. As for Dacia Dusters...they might well be useful and good value cars - its just the name that spooks me! When driving behind one recently I was reminded of all our 'dusters' & it was a most unwelcome thought, I can tell you. Anyway, I floored the Gulf & tried to think no more of it!

Derbycounter, I don't think Shell have the risk appetite some far east companies might have but they are already invested in East Morocco...maybe that will tip the risk ballance in our favour. Failing that, Repsol would probably bite our hands off if they were convinced a very convenient home Spannish market could be serviced for years to come from their purchase of our Moroccan assets!

PNE, I'll play that game: looking into my crystal ball I see a final sale price of between £3 & £4. I think TE10 is going to be seen as huge, i.e. over 3.4 TCF in the high case. We have been advised that there could be an increase in net pay & that should hopefully lead to a whole new thinking on prospective reserves at TE10. If this well flows at a good commercial rate & bearing in mind the permeability is not what it was at TE6, then the basin model looks to be highly commercial. The sale price all depends on the risk appetite of a potential buyer: how do they value the range of uncertainty (how much gas is actually there) of TE10 & how much would they risk on our huge prospective portfolio? We have been previously advised by the Board they want to sell Sound Energy with its assests as a neat package - this may include the EIA, as well as the GSA, Boot & Feed et all. It's even money now whether we drill TE11 or if we have just tied a neat bow around our box of toys ready for the big boys to unwrap, pay up & play! It's nearly all in place to 'plug & play' for the likes of Shell, Repsol or even OGIF & partners Schlumberger...or maybe a rank outsider from the Far East! I personally hope we do not have to drill another well but if we do I will wait stoically for another year to pass - whats another year..........

Jimmy, whatever happens and no matter how much I might make, I am still having a Caterham 620s! The fun is rapidly being sucked out of driving - driven by climate change & the latest EU 'black box' technology directives. Before long we will all be driving milk floats, but in the meantime I aim to tear up some tarmac in some un-green hooliganmobile! The 'doughnuts' are on me...........
