Oilpimpbxb....you say that James is a "spanker"...but I know he put his heart & soul into the belief that Tendrara would be the beginnings of a new hydrocarbon provincle & he maintains that view to this day: he is not the person that many make him out to be! He is not an Aim crook, he is just another small-cap O&G CEO who belived in their project & tried to do the best by investors...financing the company whilst trying to keep dilution to a minimum & offering real upside potential. I live in hope that new CEO, Mohammed will progress our Tendrara project to the satisfaction of all investors.
I've got a lovely picture of me holding that award up at a Park Lane hotel like I was Bobby Moore in 66 hoisting aloft the Jules Rimet trophy..................those were the days my friends we thought they'd never end, we'd sing and dance forever & a day, we'd live the life we choose, we'd fight & never lose cause we were foolish & always had our way......la la la la la la - etc & so on!
Whimsical mood Crude
Kelvin, I'm mystified why Sound didn't release an RNS advising investors on the state of the 'exclusive rights' deal with a private equity company & with a timeline that expired yesterday: if this is a taste of things to come regarding the new way of doing business & the transparency we can expect...I am not impressed! I fully expected an RNS advising about the delay in signing the deal & the lack of it leaves me sceptical, to say the least! We have gone from being the most transparent AIM company to being the least & that saddens me.
Jack, yes Greg sang 'Cynical' at the gig & yes, very appropriate. Two of my favourite songs are 'Cuckmere Shore' & 'Gibbet Wood', which is a wood very close to where I live where a highway man was hung! Greg is so soulful. He has a new guitarist who is excellent...Paul Linali. I am hoping to catch is next gig in Worthing in March or April.
Jez, I am starting to become more sceptical about 5G. My friend Adrian thinks the same will apply as happened with cigarettes & DDT & other such things that were once thought safe...the truth will out but at what cost.
Trellis, very decent of you to say so. I have no idea who you have been talking to but take your word for the "naive" comments you say you have had regarding me.
BTW, well done with your crusade...it must be a labour of love that takes up many precious hours of your time.
Cheers, Crude
Indeep, I think everything points to Moroccon control of this project - that has to be a good thing. I am banking the deal goes through & will buy more shares within the next few weeks...but that is just my opinion & my own personal judgement & only I am responsible for my own decisions................
Jack, there was no snake oil...only C1-C5 gas! Maybe the 'Snake Oil' is more a product of AIM ? what we produce is definitely not ether - ike Coke, it's the 'real thing' - Natural Gas.................
Hey Mebo...hope you are enjoying 2020?
Testpack, as usual, you are talking out of your arrze! I never have mentioned EV taxis & care less about global warming, only to say that I do not deny it. I have a recycle bin but I'm blowed if I am going to fly less or even stop driving my Golf TDI! I will eat meat & carry on as usual...but the upside is the south east is getting warmer...as far as I am concerned that is better than it getting colder!
Testpack, I'm not a climate change denier- where did you get that from - I embrace climate change, I dont deny it! I actually abhor Trump's denial of climate change as he just seems to be playing a part in "The Empofors New Clothes' fable...he is the only one who doesn't see his naked lies about fossil fuel not being a factor in global warming. But he has other qualities like seeing through Iran's nuclear ambitions & at least trying to deal with North Korea. Also, he is at least recognising the huge imbalance of trade with China that has had such a detrimental effect on blue collar workers in the good ole USA!
Testpack, but that is why so many folk voted for Trump - that & his 'climate denial'! But even with all those faults, Trump is a refreshing change & represents many who feel forgotten & neglected. He is far from ideal as a President but maybe the real benefits of his presidency will be felt after his tenure when the forgotten, dissatisfied and unrepresented finally have to be considered!
It was a pleasure getting to know you & I wish you all the best Brian. I appreciate your input into Sound Energy - such a shame you could not be present when the secrets of East Morocco are finally revealed - but bon chance in your next adventure! You always seemed like a decent, straightforward guy & it was always a pleasure whenever we met. Over to Schlumberger for Geologic advice from now on?
Cheers....Crude
UTman, I totally agree. There is no 'snake oil' here - maybe just the salesman but the product he was selling is real & valuable. JP did not commit any crime - he totally believed in what he was saying. We all collectively had faith & if anything can be levelled at the CEO it surely cannot ammount to anything more than naievty!
Lossgain, it was a pleasure to meet you at that Shard Event - I still look back on the video fondly. Anyway, the prognosis seems to be "upside potential good"...I'll take that & may well buy more shares after the dust from the placing has settled.
To all Sound Energy investors & staff & may the New year truly mark the resurrection of our Company & the start of something amazing - the opening of a new hydrocarbon provincle in East Morocco! From little acorns spring large gas fields...hopefully!
Cheers all - Crude
Abslom...Laundau, Lenigas - let's hope Parsons isn't another name synonymous with AIM failure!
Regardless, I know JP was sincere in his belief that East Morocco is a hydrocarbon province...but as the drilling campaign progressed he knew that we were holding too much project equity. But he sold it to us on the strength that we had nearly 50% equity & were "cashed up" with all that Greenberry liquidity. The bottom line is we were overstretched & under-funded. At the time we didn't know that & I suspect James was naive in that respect - the upside seemed to outweigh the costs of the downside & it was all gung ho & tally-ho for the charge to multiple TCFs! Now we need to hope that this deal goes through - or some other deal goes through - otherwise, we cash & burn!
