SoleBoy,
Great posts over the last few days but please be a little patient. This is AIM after all and we may well be making new highs by the end of the week (or even the day :o)
I do know what you mean though. Grrrr!!!
PAH,
I'm not whinging by any stretch, I just said it would have been my preference as we haven't actually been given any information yet other than what's circulating on social media. There is a difference. Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing about yesterday and I also took a chunk on open so all good :o) GLA
gje306,
That's an issue that should be taken up with the NOMAD who would have given the go-ahead to release the information.
I agree with you though. A RNS yesterday morning or a release of the presentation on the website at the same time would have been my preference and not difficult to achieve. GLA
The spread was fairly tight all day today, around 1p or less even when it went to 6p on level 2 at one point later on. You only have to look at the trades to get a general idea and ignore the ones that are nowhere near the others. GLA
Just read the website blurb ffs, it's not that difficult to find...
'Avacta aims to become the leading provider of innovative, next generation diagnostic solutions, and the first choice for disruptive immunodiagnostic products.'
Normal trades should be reported within 3 minutes but trades over 6x NMS (NMS is 5000 for Avacta) can be delayed for 1 hour. If I remember right very large trades 75x NMS can be delayed for up to 3 days or when 90% complete. GLA
You could have bought the week before for 0.2 if you were a savvy investor mind!
If you'd have talked me out of 'investing' in ARB at 10p before it rose to £3 I'd still be hunting you now. The stock market isn't all about fundamentals, it's about making money for some. GLA
Matml,
Thanks for the heads up but I'm really not expecting to see a £900k trade with a P flag go through the book. I'm well aware of trade flags but they won’t help you deduct what has happened on any given day with any certainty whatsoever. My point was that the share price fell consistently all day and most people assumed a large buy order was been filled. That’s just rose tinted nonsense imo. Why can’t it just be accepted that somebody might be taking a decent profit for whatever reason? It doesn’t need to mean impending doom for our company.
Anyway I’m expecting new highs next week. GLA
NR11,
That’s a very good but ultimately unpopular question you ask without getting a decent answer I see. So the price has dropped consistently throughout the day albeit with seemingly more buys than sells right? Then at the end of the day we get some large ‘prints’ that everybody insists are worked buy orders. What happens when there are some large sell orders that need working? Will the share price go through the roof?! I’m long and strong but ffs get a grip, not every day is Xmas. GLA
The 3% is not a theory MrR and it was regarding IG not SpreadEx. You will quite often see SpreadEx notifying the market of a holding over 3%. I would steer well clear of those sharks though, I wouldn't touch them with yours! :o)
If you mean Hurstbot has been right all week because the share price has been going up then yes I agree. However calling out a 5p higher opening the next morning every day without it ever happening baffles me senseless! There is also zero evidence of any buying related to NY whatsoever!!!! GLA
