'The country’s expanding industrial base and household income have pushed up the demand for electricity of which more than 70 per cent is generated by burning coal.'
The emerging economy’s power demand is growing at around 7 per cent per annum, which translates into more demand for coal.https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/economy/logistics/railways-provides-record-rakes-for-ferrying-coal-to-power-plants-in-march/article68127876.ece
The ridiculous ramping on any BB is only really a problem if people are suggesting it will happen in a matter of days or weeks which is nearly always impossible. Lorna has been very clear numerous times stating this is a lengthy process required to get it right as it's not been done before. HE1 may well become a £Billion company but it's not going to happen any time soon. Happy to hold. GLA
Wyndie by name FFS....
Just one sentence or paragraph is plenty sometimes. Maybe it's just me but I skip straight past all that drivel. There was a double bottom, plenty mentioned it. Looking forward to hearing from AS next week, I can imagine he'll have a plethora of questions regarding one particular subject! GLA
I agree RF would be selling into this more aggressively imo so maybe they are done. GLA
The petty arguing is getting tedious by the way. Just ignore or filter each other, unless you have another motive of course...
'They can't have been sells, the bid was only at 2.45p for a nominal amount of shares at the time the trades went through at 8.30am today. But the ask was about 2.60p at that time..'
I think you might be wrong on this one moniman, the trades were from the day before delayed by exactly 24 hours.
500k went through at 8.19am @2.9 then at 8.32am 1mil went through at 2.65 so I presume the first was a buy and the 2nd a sell. I presume the other two 1mil trades were a rollover. Doesn't really matter but will be interesting to see any further large trades over net few days. GLA
The question is are Riverfort still selling into the little bit of strength we have. 3x 1 million trades this morning, granted that 2 of them could be a rollover. If they have finished this could move very quickly soon. GLA
It's the first positive news in quite some time and if I'm honest I was actually a little surprised. A few weeks ago we were told to expect plenty of good news starting soon and I thought it was probably more BS. Hopefully my bad. GLA

Professional, my point was SNG is a massive gamble right now, they are valued at cash in bank and are unlikely to be able to raise more if no trial happens soon. GCM have cash for the next 18 months…
‘I am all about risk return and Capital preservation.’
‘Here i do not yet like the risk reward balance. I do not like to gamble’
Personally I've always likes AS and still do. Whether he's still CEO material at this point right now is obviously debatable. Is he really to blame for the shocking placement or was he busy being a scientist and left the financial experts to sort the finances? I'd always had a niggle since one of the presentations when they said we were overvalued but the rose tinted specs dismissed it! What I can say is at some point soon we are (over)due an explanation and a positive RNS!
Sorry just my semi drunken musings. GLA
Professional (so you say), I'm intrigued that you have taken a position in SNG. As much as I would love them to land any sort of further trial before the purse strings snap, I've not really seen any evidence that they will do so. I think there's much more chance of positive news here over the next few weeks and plenty of 'evidence' that this might just happen at last. GLA
