Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Bit wired. I’m annoyed more than anything that I watched the AGM and different presentations and thought AS came across well. My only reservation was when they basically said we were over valued compared to our peers. I brushed that aside with thoughts that licence deal(s) were imminent so then the MC would rise exponentially. After a few days to take stock I’m actually excited again, if you’re not you should probably sell up. Once this placing has churned through which will only take a few days we should head back to 100p imo. I’m slightly confused about the Turner Pope note? Are people saying there is new information in this? If so, how is that possible without official news release? GLA
That's just one opinion Acker, here's another...
Mineral Resources' Managing Director Chris Ellison was more buoyant about the price outlook during a Feb. 22 analyst call, after saying in January that lithium prices could keep falling for another six months."We're normally used to operating in an environment [where] we're getting around $455 to $600 a [mt] for our product," Ellison said of the spodumene price. "I think in the long term, it's a $2,500 [/mt] environment that we'll be sitting in ... I think incrementally it will grow over this year."
Not sure if this has been mentioned recently but the FDA are accepting applications to take part in the START pilot project during January and February 2024 to speed up the development of rare disease therapeutics... GLA
Somebody bidding for 560k shares in the auction at 3.75p so looking good or net week. I think once/if we break 4p we should see fireworks! Does anybody remember how this used to rise 5 years ago? Different amount of shares in issue now but still tightly held. GLA
He means the state of the UK market and underinvestment. Also with interest rates high some people are just keeping their cash to themselves. GLA
Have a read here for example:

Agree biffa, so much to be excited about here but unfortunately until they get something over the line and crystalize a substantial profit we will be ignored. Could be tomorrow but also weeks or months. When it does come it will be a very sharp rise! GLA
Agree Donkey, we were all mostly taken in. Hindsight trading is a wonderful thing and I would certainly be far better off if I had used a 25% stop loss over the years on long term investments. I think it's the system that's at fault rather than just our BOD to be honest. Look at HEMO today also, they were trading at 3.5p last week. Fell away over the last few days then tanked yesterday and raised today at 2p and fell below the placing price. I'm sure there must be a better way to do it but the company is held to ransom to a degree. A temporary suspension while negotiating might stop some of the twat shenanigans for example. The Aussies suspend companies if the CFO farts FFS!
Anyway it's done now, hopefully this morning was the most painful and we move on unless you sold in disgust or got stopped out. I bought some more under 52p so I suppose if we can get back above £1 this will actually be a positive in the long run. I'm not sure our BOD will be losing any sleep!!! GLA
Unfortunately for most LTH it doesn't hurt the BOD one bit to raise money at this price. It probably stings a little because of all the emails they will have to either ignore or reply to with dishonest empathy. The facts are they kind of told us we were overvalued last year and then went and accepted it because they left it too late in the current climate. A massive shambles without doubt for us but for the BOD just a bit of noise and a few days of irritation. Sad but true imo. GLA
Agree with that AJM, as much as I didn't want it to be the case, the same usual twats know what's going on and trade illegally shafting the LTH. Unfortunately the CEO's priorities are not the shareholders in this size of company unless of course he/she has some very large ones to answer to. Everything will continue as planned and excuses will be made at the next AGM as to why this happened. Disgusting but standard. GLA
