Mind you the buy price hardly moved at that time, I think it did dip later though. You would be sick now if you sold at 115.50 on a 119 close. The 118 did pretty much hold today, so as you say the turnaround is coming :D

nomoney, no problem at all. The buy (offer) price remained high but the sell (Bid) price was forced down artificially At 13.29.59 it was 117.80 118.30 two seconds later without a trade it was 115.40 118.30. This means that anyone who set a fixed price to sell between 117.80 and 115.40 would have had the sell go through and their shares sold. That’s fine if the price is plummeting, but in this case the sell price was then popped back to 117.00 straight away and then all the way back to 118.00 in a minute or so. The end effect was if you had 115.50 as a sell price you no longer have your shares but the price really had not moved and you lost out. This tactic is used to force sells to supply buyers that are waiting to step in. Hope that makes some sense…lol

Notice the FTSE has been falling since 21st Nov along with the Dow/S&P in the States, this really isn't helping our situation. Dow closed down again this evening so more of the same tomorrow.

Malta, We did post at the same time…great minds! I too am holding into next year. That was always my plan all along, although thankfully I did pull back from buy more around 126-8 after the 130 purchase which turned out to be a good move. I truly believe the company is in the best shape it’s been in for a long time going into next year and the results I think will prove that along with the price. Might look again to top up in the mid teens if it gets that low, if not I’m comfortable with what I’m holding. GL

Hi malta, you beat me to the post re. nomoney. Crazy days again....

nomoney, you’ve has some very sound advice from a few posters and I’m sure you’ve took it on board. If you are happy to hold and tie your current investment up for a reasonable amount of time, do so, as selling now is an actual loss as opposed to a paper one that you are currently sitting on. As I said earlier sit tight and let things come to you in time (prices never just keep going down!!). On the other hand if you do need some money back you could lighten your investment by undoing your most recent trade at the lowest price paid so at least the actual loss will be minimal. GL in what ever you decide.

LOL…lost count of how many fingers I’ve had cut to shreds in the past. I think there are 2 issues at the moment, the volumes are really low so any selling is moving the price and the other is uncertainty over Poker Stars, it’s great they are out of the picture for now but until we get some firm news on their situation in the state it’s tricky. If any news comes out that their application had been removed you will see that horse fly in the final furlong. Let’s hope it’s not too long. GL

Very familiar story and one we all know too well unfortunately, just sit tight and it will find its way back. The history of this one is drift drift drift then back up again in a flash, it’s what makes it a good trading share, the hard part in guess the bottom, as you now know to your cost….falling knife. Nice to see some other posters on here.

As I mentioned a few days ago tournament play is not a cash game so not part of that stat. Many folks think that the difference between the cash game figure and the online figure are just play money players, but that’s not the case, both stats are revenue positive. We had 2450 in total online on Sunday at 7pm est, i checked it at midnight our time…nice.

My post back on the 14th (below) seems to be spot on....hope now the US seems to be making moves that the 230 comes to light soon also...fingers crossed. As far as PRTY is concerned, been trading them for about 15 months through the ups and downs…..not a good stock for the faint hearted. Over that time have took profit on occasion and frankly brought back to early so am averaging 2.04. I feel it’s just a waiting game at the moment, am in hopes that the last week of March leading to the merger will see some movement back towards 1.90-2.00, but after that any further gains are a bit in the hands of the good old US of A, any positive news from them I hope will push the price nearer to 2.30 in the short term at least, then the opportunity arises to take some profit and look again.
