Wolfe, I agree about the poor source, Calvin Ayre is well known for being a Bwin.party hater so no surprise there. As you say Pokerstars have a long way to go before they get their foot in the door in NJ, but I think the state will be eager for the extra revenue Stars would bring, but I’m sure the current operators will put up as many walls as possible to prevent it with the authorities. IF Stars do get back in sooner rather than later I think no matter what we do beforehand we would not stop them steamrolling us and the others, the US player still love Stars. I’m going to stay overweight until the year end results sometime in March, but I think it would be prudent to lighten up after that point just in case.

Hi albus, Apparently the DGE normally release this sort of detail you are after for land based data but they decided to limit the detail for online. I’m sure this is Pokerfest attracting the cash game players away, still it’s all revenue, just not as transparent as the cash game numbers we are used to seeing. I think we will get some movement across all the main players as marketing and promo’s get ramped up, but it’s all short term variations but I suspect the long term picture will stay broadly the same.

This thing about certain numbers of shares going through having meanings is seen as a myth by many including me until lately, but the rash of 100 trades meaning shares needed going through just before a 750K Buy was a massive coincidence. Friday and this morning I notice there are many 900’s going through which is meant to mean let the price float, and funny enough the price has start going back up again. It all seem to transparent but is making sense in this case? On another note, have you noticed the cash game numbers in NJ have dropped the last few days, I thought I would mention this as I think it’s nothing to worry about as they started Poker Feast late last week until the end of Jan. This is Tourney based so would move some cash players away for a time.

Hi Nat, I think albus means the roughly 3-4M BUYS in various blocks of 100K, 250K and the 750K yesterday and the day before.

I think it’s now safe to say the current price is NOT reflective of reality and is being handled for whatever reason. I’m sure it will work it’s self out in the end and IF it is shares they are looking for the outcome should be positive…at least that’s what makes sense? The strange thing is we have 100M+ to sell, so why is there a problem finding sellers? Or perhaps we’re not? I really don’t know anymore…

Checked a few sources and all say O trade and BUY. I can’t believe moments are my comment about the silly run of 100 trades and the price going down, the bloody thing did!

I think I’ve developed a permanent tick over the last few years with this bugger!!! Every time someone mentions the word ‘Party’, off I go…. Someone is playing games again we had 30 odd 100 share trades go through at 14.10, it always makes me nervous when silly patterns start to kick in, always seems followed by a drop for some reason?

Second day running 888 has taken a hit. Finally investors are taking notice of the US potential for us, and less so for them.

Cheers, Still can’t get to the bottom of the joint venture split in ‘real terms’ so no idea where Bwin.party stands at the moment. The good news is the NJ report is going to be monthly so as long as the numbers still improve it should give regular impetus to the share price going forward.

All jokes aside, there are now many 250K buys going through. Wonder if these are investors or the company buying for cancellation? Will find out this evening via an RNS no doubt.
