Much like nat0 I'm long too, but I did top slice my total holding yesterday by 25% on a recent purchase of 109 to be safe, just in case of any land mines in the near future. It's was nice to see some profit for a change.

KAMEL, now here’s a shock….I 100% agree. I think everyone on here are so badly beaten by this share over years that it easier to think the worst than anything else. Truth is deep down no one really believes this rubbish, but it made a good talking point today. Anyhow, thanks for the good post.

If there is any downside to the price going up, it’s the growing temptation to take some profit in the hope it’s not too premature, the last tranche I picked up at 109 is now showing a 12% profit and it’s hard to ignore, must stand firm.

LOL nice 1, I have to say it's been so long I'm not used to seeing the price going up, it's all a bit surreal. So large buys of 100,000 plus gone through again this morning, some must be confident of the future.

Without risking my sources confidence, as this is very general……. I’ve contacted Bwin.party and ask this question: It’s somewhat disconcerting to hear that a board member of LV Sands (Jason Ader) and an opponent of online gambling may be taking a board position with the company in the near future. I know its early day’s but do you have any info with regards to this? Answer: We have not really had a proper conversation with him but obviously we are alive to that fact! No surprise really, but it does show it’s a consideration for them.

I understand the nerves, I just keep trying to look at the longer and bigger picture to calm them. So glad this board is like it is, others just don’t make me want to go near them. Good to hear your filters off.

Albus, Hi, I’m here, just got to work and posting on my phone is too much trouble. Well done everyone for keeping the faith. Guess my 116 call is mute now and Karmel will have to change his opinion once again. Busy at work today so will only be dipping in and out.

I see PokerScout has finally sorted the data problem for PartyPoker, unfortunately they didn’t adjust the 7 day average to reflect their error, we should see that number increase again now but it will take a few days to kick in. Nice to see the price step up today, that 116 before the results is looking good, especially as in the days leading up to them the price tends to come up nearly every time.

KAMEL, I can see your points and they are valid. However the last NJ data was not that interesting in general as it wasn’t that different from the previous months so no price movement was not a great surprise, if not a little disappointing. I think the results will be seen as significant and if the Q3 guidance for Q4 onwards is anything to go by I still would expect a positive move in the price (not mind blowing) but enough to trade on, then no doubt without more news the price will drift. The problem is the whole sector is suffering from negativity at the moment, but I’m in hopes that positive results within this sector now or going forward will slowly move things back in the right direction in the sector as a whole. Guess we’re find out soon enough. In general my investment timeframe is much longer term and I’m sure we haven’t seen the end of US expansion, if it takes a few more years so be it, but there is value in this company at this level, especially if there are some more changes at board level going forward. The acceptance of failure has to come to an end at some point.

Malta, My view is that the Q4/Yearend results will have a positive effect on the price. For what it’s worth here’s why - The cost savings in 2013 should be good and even get us back into profit for the first time in years, then the forward guidance for 2014 should be more positive than anytime in the last few years, remember it was the forward guidance in the Q3’s that seemingly moved the price last time. However given the opportunity to lighten up my position prior to the results at around 116 plus I will take it, maybe 30% with the same view as you to be safe and also allow the opportunity to top up if the price should drop. I hope the 2013 cost savings will offset the start up costs in NJ. As ever it goes without saying that DYOR applies to all. GL On another note I see PokerScout have still not fixed the data for us and it's now moving our 7 day average down and we are slipping down the table, they really need to fix this before sites start to incorrectly reporting this as a PartyPoker decline.

The Pokerscout data is incorrect, it's been the same for the last 24 hours, I went onto the Partypoker site last night and the actual numbers online bore no relation to Pokerscout.

This must be the dullest period in the history of this share the last few weeks. I suppose we shouldn’t complain as dull is better than it dropping, but short term trading opportunities are nonexistent at the moment. Let’s hope the NJ stats for Jan on Wednesday will move things, hopefully upwards.
