Agree with many of the comments on this thread, but will still remain cautious as to the 'mid-cap in the making' comment.
Have seen this posted on virtually all small cap stocks, and it is by no means a certainty.
2022 looks likely to see a continuation of the growth seen to date, and hopefully some of the announced applications coming to a bottom-line enhancing fruition.
Certainly an exciting future, but there will inevitably be bumps along the way (as seen by current SP).
Still a long term hold for me, and will be adding when funds available in the coming weeks

Facts do not back this up though.
In the last 3 months, the daily volume has only just scraped past 1% on 5 occasions, 2% of daily volume once (1 month ago) and was over 3% of daily volume once too (2 weeks ago).
I'm sorry, but there are no signs of anyone buying up cheap shares here.
The pattern is exactly the same over prior 3 month periods too.
You have to go back to the first 5 weeks of 2020 to see anything like decent volumes here

Credibility will only be established amongst its peers when they get SFB into production.
Reputation will follow with a successful sidetrack

Whilst the market likes good news, they prefer figures to back that up to value the company on a sounder basis.
Any significant re-rate will happen when figures are known for these deals, etc

Hugely disappointing that they release this in the last hour of trading in November, despite the advance notice that it would be out this month.
Although technically 'on time', it is an opportunity lost to give investors some confidence in their ability to communicate timely and in detail.
Plenty of scope in those timelines for delays, sadly, and not as extensive, or detailed as hoped for (for me).
I have stated several times that I fully expect a slip in first gas to beyond Q1, and do not see anything here to inspire confidence that this will happen in March, let alone late Feb as they still seem to be hopeful on.
I will hold my hands up if wrong, but will be staggered if we see 1st gas before my birthday (April).

While this SP rise is welcome, it will not be sustained, imo, and we are still a long way off seeing 1p being broken and held.
Lidsey news not likely to result in anything of significance in 2022.

IQ answers to come, but expecting regular comms from now on and confirmation of targets being hit, and regularly, to restore some confidence in their ability to deliver, and give the SP some much needed momentum.

Any information they would have been given would have been made public once the placing was announced, as is required under MAR.
I am sure they would never have been given any assurances, different timelines, etc, and as experienced investors they would have considered the risks of investing, much like any other investor would surely do.

Whether they are putting pressure on the bod for answers, updates on performance is another matter, although I am sure they recognise the meaning of expectation, and are aware that H2 ends on 31/12, not some arbitrary time during the entire 6 month period

It is not a fact, in reality it is lower now than it has been for 2 months despite many who keep saying it will be over 1p soon and keep rising.
Your zero substance ramps, are just as bad as the deramping posters who you keep berating.
As a result, now filtered along with them

Sadly, things can and do fail. And they do all the time.
The argument that Aleph putting in £12m is some kind of guarantee of success here is a very weak argument.
Yes, they will have pored over all of the data, weighted up risks, etc, before agreeing to the financing, but there are NO guarantees, and imo it is very naive as an investor to think otherwise.

That is such a tired boring argument used by the many to try and discredit so-called swampies, many of whom are NOT swampies, but just have different views on particular aspects of the company and its progress vs what they are told by the board.
As an investor in oil and gas, do you take the most polluting form of transport everywhere you go? Do you always buy food with the most airmiles? Do you never recycle, or grow your own? Do you send all your waste to land fill? Do you only eat meat and holiday long-haul? If not, then you must be a hypocrite too, no?
The majority are aware if all the uses of oil and oil-based products, and are also aware of the need to 'do their bit' as well as acknowledging the need for alternative fuel sources.
The many also recognise that this takes time, and will not be an overnight thing.

But, lets use extreme arguments just to make a point.

And for the record, I have been invested here for more than 3 years, hold other Oil and gas shares (majors and minnows), as well as holdings in Hydrogen shares and funds and other 'green' companies.
Part of a balanced portfolio in different sectors, countries, asset types, etc.

As for HITS, I just see a green line whenever they post.

Great news.
Perhaps 10-11 months later than anticipated, but this will be huge for future growth.
No numbers given, unsurprisingly, but this will certainly give the SP a well needed boost.
All lining up for 2022 to be a great year for EQT in terms of delivery, and for future prospects too.

Whilst they all add up, total volume today is still circa 0.5% of total shares in issue.
Hope the rise continues, but daily volume still very small for me to signify anyone loading up to any extent, especially as any worked order is likely to be closer to 10% of daily volumes.
Encouraging signs though, and news will hopefully create more interest and trading volume

We were told yesterday that "Tuesday has historically been a favourite for AFC to release news".
Whilst there is, of course, the chance we will see something today, this comment seems to be purely based on the ABB RNS coming out on a Tuesday last week.
Let's look at the facts (an RNS release is easy to look back at after all).
Ignoring all the PDMR, Holdings and any other 'fluff' releases, there have been a total of 13 'newsworthy' (imo) releases this calendar year. Obviously, opinions will differ as to what is considered to be newsworthy.
Now, more than 1 a month (imo) is pretty good for a company this size that apparently does not communicate with its shareholders, but that is a different argument.
Of those releases, the numbers are: Mon (4), Tue (2), Wed (1), Thur (5) and Fri (1).

I don't for a second subscribe to the "X has a favourite day to release news", as companies are obliged to release material news as soon as possible (conveniently ignored by many), but if the above shows anything, it is that news can, and will come any time. 7am is much more likely than any other time of day though

I believe that there are Telegram boards for the disciples, where only positive views are allowed, and any dissenters get kicked out.
Doesn't sound very healthy, or useful for those investors with an open mind who consider both the positive and negative to help inform their decisions.
Meanwhile, many will just filter out the noise and extreme views posted on both sides

I don't agree with the postings of a lot of posters on these boards, and many are tiresome to read, hence my use of the filter button, but gloating and mocking the investment decisions and potential losses others may have incurred shows you are no better.
I don't wish any investor to lose any money, regardless of their views here, or elsewhere.
No one wins all the time and investing is not as easy as many like to make out, as can be clearly seen by the day to day musings seen on here
