I do.Finance minister is being difficult re. $54+ tax (18% onshore/ 33% offshore) He has broken hos promise to tevise it. But Trin was never counting on it anyway. Full year results due late Feb. Update due with it. No nasty skeletons in closet ...just a very very tightly run company at 29.2 dollars a barrel breakeven I believe. Debt to pay off so 2018 ill not see this fly IMO. Steady as she goes. I communicate regularly with them so hope I am in the cogs and wheels of the company correctly as they are very honest. Unusual for AIM.So...yes. But I don't expect leaps and bounds- just go with what happens.Solid investment now. Govt. may cause problems but they will only be shooting themselves in foot. Debt repayment early is the central factor. Depends on SPT and WTI.

-38 in Midwest today. Next few set of inventory drawdowns interesting. WTI will be very interesting to watch in January IMO. I discount SPT as an inevitable for at least 3 more months if not longer. So it all comes down to WTI. All roads lead to March and slowly slowly catchy monkey......

I don't think I've ever heard a more severe indictment of an administration. Phew. And I thought I was being critical !! Does not bode well for the near future . Governments by their nature lean towards ineptitude as the forces which drive so many politicians are usually not altruistic but power and influence-based-hence self-serving. The natural tendency towards inertia is often only dented when they are under threat. This is why majority govts. ( like at present in US) are to be avoided in general. You need that pressure. I'm sad if the laziness is true. I would substitute short-termism and narrow-mindedness. I found the whole budget quite immature in places. I hope Charles' commentary is not just shrugged off. Governments need to be under pressure. I have no optimism regarding SPT reformation. I do not expect any more. I will be pleasantly surprised if they heed the IMF and actually do anything.

Well mine goes back to 2012 but not that early. Man@ca might whip the both of us though!! I can't trace before tge corporate action on H/L ( rev. takeover). But I'm depressed now. I realize I held Ocado at 65p ( now £3) and Ferrexpo at 20p ( now £6!) Not to mention BAE at £2 ( now£6) and Man group at 75p ( now 2.05p) I really have not had a clue much of the time. I've been a crap investor at times...really... I I bought POG . Should've been called OMG. What a company!!! Hambro and " Sir" Fred Goodwin would make good soulmates. And don't start me off on today's "knighthoods". Never forget Mr. Savile was a knight. I met him once. Gave me the creeps even before he was rumbled. Non-AIM. Kazakhmys/ BWIN takeover/Stobart/Glencore....loads more.. and they're not even AIM !! I held BWIN at 80p/Stobart at 90p/ Kazakhmys at 75p !!!/ Glencore at 90p !!!!/ Lloyds at 26p/H-L at £7...........OMG all of them only in last 4 years. Wish I'd held !!!!!

I remember holding Trin at £1.20 a share too.Then 90p. Then 80p. Then 50p when Scareprophets said " STRONG BUY". 2 days later it was 28p. Then 22p. Then 15p. Then Threadneedle sold out and it plummeted on 26th July 20-5 to 5p. 1.8p Jan 2016 when oil was $28 barrel. So........buying betweek 1.5 and 3p was heart-rending but based on trust in mainly one highly trustworthy and clued-in individual in Trin during FSP ( no conversations allowed- just chaperoned emails). I have already multibagged. Not got back what I had but my trust paid off and I would be up **** creek if I hadn't bought. So...... I'm not looking a gift-horse in the mouth. I feel Trin will be suppressed for quite a while and just respond to debt announcements now ...WTI or not. I am happy to be wrong. Opposite opinions welcome.

IMO if we expect little then we won't be disappointed. I said this last Jan when people were spouting 35p stories. That is not to say that we cannot be surprised on the upside.....just not to expect " mulitibagging". Of course it could happen. And it could happen to Trin. Iran and Saudi are tooth and nail at each other. N. Korea is oil- starved and unpredictable. Shale is overrated. India is on the cusp of becoming a new condumer- nation . Oil has had its bust ( probably) and exploration at lowest ever. So WTI coukd indeed fly. So could Trin. But as GO said 2 months ago. 25p in 2018 is a realistic expectation-if lowball. 35p post-CLN payoff 2019 or earlier. I hold to this. As with yourself I have been in Trin 4 yrs. For some reason the Marketmakers do not want to let Trin go It is consistently suppressed. Only if someone releases their agenda would Trin " multibag". So...best to keep my expectations lowball and base on debt repayment. I don't want to be a downer but feel it is safer to be conservative in expectations. 14p is a jjoke I feel. But we have a seller! I know shares can multibag but " nothing spectacular happening" is a good outlook from Confoinded. Steady as she blows. I'm unhappy with 14p but can do f'all about it !!!!

Good uplifting long-term info. A lot of investors focus short short term. Tracy once told me Trin is not one for day traders ( although it can be if u play it right-some of us have). I still don't understand the present selling but I didn't at 10p either. If we're looking at the Phoenix really rising from the ashes it'll be on repayment of debt and hence CLN as you say. Then the universe will be at Trin's feet ( seismically speaking). 2018?
