RNS very positive and reflects Nov’s innovation and adapltibility.Traders and shorters are in charge with algo trades so any good news is squished quickly.The truth and nothing but the truth. Buy or hang in. Give as little info to traders as possible on chatsite. Long wait ahead possibly until DHSC resolution. Hang in and leave. The shares and the banter.

1)Too much talk keeps this share in the traders’ spotlight. Hence controlled/suppressed.
How good it would be if we could just switch off and stop bantering.
And just left things to play out.
Compulsion to post is self-destructive in Nov’s case. IMHO.
But I don’t think I’ll stop the compulsion to unnecessarily banter. But I encourage starving this chatsite of all but info based on evidence.
But it seems compulsive and ..sorry...much ill-will and empty comments from random new posters..some quite bizarre atm.

1) Friday’s modest rise? On hopes of antigen assay RNS? Don’t expect rise or fall tomorrow. Goes where it goes.
2) Never ever expect a RNS unless results or promised.It comes if /when it comes .
3) As usual too much white noise banter. Feeds the algo-traders. Just leave Ncyt alone to find its course. Smalltalk destroys s/p value.
4) Buy if you choose. Still ridiculously cheap. DHSC or not. 7-10m a month.
5) Unlikely to grow in share value until news on DHSC payments 2019. Maybe 2020
6) Litigation not inevitable. Govt. however not to be trusted.
7) Warranty refund may happen. Bad
8) Warranty refund may not happen and govt. may be forced to compromise. Good
9) Loss mostly already factored in but market would milk any bad news.
10) New US business contract news would have prime effects
11) Be prepared to wait if you are on a loss( like me)

When has Novacyt ever surprised with a blockbuster update ( outside last September which was rescinded by the government anyway).
Good info on assays which do not significantly change the price as no mention of contracts. DHSC may not be welcome news.
But who knows.

The market has this factored in along with p/i response.

I simply wanted to make clear that there was a hige amount of buying going on. Very little at p/i prices. I tracked every few seconds for the last hour. Buy and sell price. They were often identical!! But the movement was sporadic.
Essentially I didn’t want false information.
There was a huge amount of buying going on. In the last hour I certainly tracked far more buying than selling. Some at p/i price ..some not.
Wrong to dismiss Covid. Wrong to dismiss Ncyt as a company ( although they have not endeared themselves to me). And certainly wrong to suggest lack of buying. Plenty of buying there...even looked like short covering at one stage but that could be rubbish on my part...but buys were steaming ahead. Covid prevention is now the issue. Covid is not dead. Testing is the new focus by far and away!!!!
I am not a fan of how this company treats investors. But it is in the right business because covid cannot die. It must always be screened.
I’m not interested in criticising people. Just putting the facts straight.

I respect your openness and honesty.
I did not buy as a result of a chatboard. Never do. But I bought as a result of research and getting caught out bigtime by unexpected contract loss and potential previous revenue and the algo-crew and shorters who rule it all.
I cannot ease your burden but I can say that I am losing around £94,000 for my stupidity. I wish it was £13k. All relative..but no...I was stupid and can’t afford it even if it looks like I can.
I am trapped too. Fully like you.
But whether Ncyt are complicit and traders want us out....I ain’t budging as I know it can get worse. But I also know how cunning and stealthy they can be. And I do not want to give them their undeserved freebie.
I am suffering badly but will hold on open endedly. **** them. And Ncyt.
We must look after ourselves.

There is little sign of upwards s/p movement to embrace results.
I am not deramping. That would be shooting self in foot.
Knowing this board there will be some “ interesting” feedback.
I don’t have to weite anything-could keep it all to myself. However I have seen peoples’ expectations dashed too many times and misery results.
Good to stay as open minded as evidence allows. . Bad to expect.
DHSC revenue will be interesting but no expectations is healthy.
Too much money is being made right now. And Ncyt arexwell aware of it all of course.
Much is written here. Much is white noise every day. It’s in the hands of the market and the sweetest LFT assay would only support the share price if it came with a set of contracts or FDA approval val . Or some similar NEW contracts.
I would suggest we would need longer.
I await criticism-such is the way here unfortunately -but I feel it is important for us large longer term holders to stay firmly rooted to reality and be prepared to wait indefinitely.
I for one am not quite sure why Ncyt allow the share price to be where it is and only hypothesise ( which means potentially being fully wrong).
I choose to sit on the hopeful chair.
But fully open-endedly. To me the only sensible way unless ypu want to cystallise loss and sell. For that I feel there would have to be a downright good reason.
Wishing to support all those on a loss by having nil time nor RNS expectations.
