Agreed - PR / IR has definitely been our weak point . The BoD seem to have been at pains over the years to make a huge fuss of marking down stock and being extra cautious of not giving order values - which has meant a value disconnect with TRAK / SEE etc. I get that you need to be prudent , but it’s AIM for gods sake - sentiment is king !

Global - 6th April I think I bought. Go and check . I then tweeted about the value down at sub 20p on 7th April . I have followed Myles’ research for many years . Held MKA for 5 years. This along with PALM and STAR will be the next multi baggers. You won’t make money on AIM buying after a 5-10x rise . Buy at the bottom . Had similar with CPX , 88E , SOLG..... but hey - do whatever !

Hants - all good points . What I meant earlier is that people are now behaving as if it’s over . Just take a look around . We may see a second wave . We may not . Who knows .

Ninja - you do realise that millions will have had it , and not be included in those numbers . Estimates are around 25% of the 65million UK population , which is likely to be the reason transmission has massively slowed . PS - my average is 16.125p - still holding 80% of my original shares . I am not deramping - but there are risks here to the short term SP - for example - the BBC article - we were merely a footnote . I found it strange , did you not ?

All totally pointless if the Covid 19 pandemic passes by before we get the product to market . Life is not far off back to normal as far as I can see .

Does anyone have any info on how the neutralising therapies would would work - I.e. would you need an continuous dose or is this something else completely ? I wonder if this would be presented along the lines of PEP for HIV exposure or more like an anti malaria treatment . I also wonder if governments would invest given the risk reward at the current coal load. I am still invested but on the fence as to whether that was just a “filler” RNS . Time will tell .

AVCT is still one of the best performing shares of 2020... however, LTH know that the 80p range is clearly possible if the LFT doesn't work, isn't commercial, a vaccine is available or Covid becomes a lot less deadly (we can see this happening already). However, £48m in the back, a load of "free" PR on their technology and some "interesting" backers means that at those levels, we are primed and ready for a big rise over the next 2-3 years. HOLD.

The £1.20 placing was a master stroke. Nothing less . The SP was artificially inflated and AS knew it . He managed to get away a colossal amount in the raise at a price 6 times the SP just a matter of weeks previously.

it is NOTHING to do with MMs. The reported trades are simply a time stamp guess when the trade is reported. There is one simple reason that this is dropping. People are not as confident as they were two weeks ago that Avacta will be able to capitalise on the Covid opportunity. it is so staggeringly obvious.

if you have, you need to take a long hard look at how you invest your money, rather than following the herd. Maybe try researching companies before they ten bag and are all over the Daily Mail? Jeesus, some of the stupidity here is frightening. You really need to consider upside / downside potential. Go and have a look at some sub £5m stocks. There are some right gems out there.

AVCT is still one of the success stories of 2020, and i will continue to hold (and be critical of management if i think they deserve it) , being on a free roll (stake back at £1.50) - when already on a 9 bag . So i will hold here, safe in the knowledge that they raised £48 million at a really good price of £1.20 - (smart move). However, if we are to capitalise properly on the massive opportunity of Covid 19, they have to move quickly.

if you can't get the thing to market before the virus stops transmitting . come on AVCT. pull your finger out and give us some timelines.

Italian doctors saying the viral load of cases now are incomparable with early cases . That’s what I meant . Key risk for Avacta short term is a failure to capitalise on the product . I mean in terms of short term SP. I remain invested , having bought at 16p and on a free roll from stake back at 150p on the way up but these are my thoughts , before you all start calling me a deramper .

Good commentary from Charlie Stephenson ( geologist and mining specialist at SI Capital ) “ Looks like the box work structures (locations where pyrite which was once in the veins has been oxidized/rusted leaving a cubic shape). These pyrite zones often hold gold are are good indicators. The two blue line zones look to be two fluid events, again good indicators.” Response on Darren’s twitter updates .

Clearly we wouldn’t be trading up in this range - I invested pre-covid , but I have I say they are taking too long to get the test out . However good the test is , if the virus dies out , no one will need it . This is why they chose to raise such a significant amount of money at a high price of 120p (when the non Covid SP fair value is nearer 50p). Smart move really and secures the future of the company . However lots of Covid dream chasers who were silly to buy in after a 10x rise could be disappointed. The company had £3 plus potential but it may be a while away .
