Hmmm. Looks like game over . Nomads won’t be climbing over each other to represent them given the clear disregard for corporate governance . Well played by Tang to make it his private vehicle . Shame that shareholders can be treated like this on AIM - rules need an overhaul IMO.

I thought about a punt based on Riddlers' tweets, but some real red flags i can't get comfortable with.

1) The Nomad required another NED to be appointed - clearly they were unhappy with the Corp Gov structure - was this the reason for the resignation? I can't see that this has been actioned. (On the advice of the Company's Nominated Adviser, the Board will, in the near future, be appointing an additional Independent Non-Executive Director to further enhance the governance of the Company.)
2) The company ownership structure is a minefield.
3) The company are pretty clear that they are investing for the future and won't be selling anything. "The Strategy stipulates the objective will be to achieve returns to shareholders through the appreciation in the value of the Company's shares rather than by means of a distribution. "
4) Tang is "Executive" Chairman so no-one able to challenge him, and he takes $815k out of this a year.?

Looks to me like this is going private chaps. Best of luck but i can't see a way forward.

Pelegrino - check my posting history . I posted when I bought . Black and white . First week of April I recall, having done my homework and buying at the bottom . You lot might want to try it . It’s pathetic to call anyone who questions a company for being opaque / failing to update the market a deramper. I’m very comfortable holding long term - but it’s annoying I watch time ticking on and still no test or real updates on timelines .

We could do with some decent PR /IR - clearly lots being worked on the the background but this is AIM and sentiment rules.

I bought at 16.125p... and I am complaining also . Sold 40% around 150 so a real free roll but watching them miss this massive opportunity in front of their face is really frustrating. The updates from the company on the saliva test have been very poor . The fundraise at £1.20 was a genius move - and leaves us fully funded to work on the cancer therapeutics- but it’s almost like the saliva test was a ruse . Hopefully they get something out which we can monetise, but it’s looking less likely every day .

i did a few others but their revenues are much larger so it makes comparison difficult . Also when you move towards earnings - clearly the P/E ratio and other metrics kick in .

I also held CPX around 4/5 years ago - from 1p up to 6p when the thin-line RNS came out . Riddler did well out of that too as I recall .

Made more sense in excel. A comparison of high potential stocks in the tech space with small(ish) revenue streams. CPX valued at 5.9x revenues, IQG at 4.5x revenues, CYAN at 3.5 x revenues. STAR currently 0.6x revenues. Rebasing - suggests a fair range of £23-40m. Or 5-10x from here (5p to 10p) - and this is with NO other news.

i think we are talking about EBIT in the tech investment space.

i bought at 16p - sold a bit yesterday after a 1000% gain. Those selling now aren't all crazy, they are shrewd people who likely want to realise some gains and move into stocks with 10x potential. The maximum upside here is likely only 2x (being realistic - clearly i hope it is more, but even that is adding 500m to the MC - not an easy thing to do). I still hold around half my original holding, but only because it owes me nothing. If you are sitting on a loss in AVCT or SNG or any other stock that has risen 10/20x you are a total sheep/mug and shouldn't be investing on AIM.

we need some updates on timelines for the saliva test. getting beyond a joke really. i took some more profit yesterday to invest elsewhere but still holding a chunk here.

I know what you mean and i have bought these up to around 4p back in the day. In their Defence, the BoD have always acted in the best interests of the company and been ultra prudent in their accounting and coms. It's almost like an owner-managed tech, start up given the skin they have in the game. How many other companies <£5m MC can boast the quality of products and partners that Starcom have.

Anyway - Its a steal at 1p. The 353,946 buy just now is mine.
