So they dont stand to make a ton money if the share price goes to £3 and they convert to shares. I call that an investment. Why dont you go back to American Virtual Cloud Technologies. I recall you thought they were the same company
You dopey melt
I called the Royal Marsden too Eddo to be honest and they told me similar, that most trials dont go to plan but Avactas was "Fecking ACE". Their exact words. Although to be honest I had dialed the wrong number and was querying a missing donut order. Seems we have both got mixed messages here. Guess we wait for the RNS.
*Full disclosure the above is as true as I think eddos claims are about the royal marsden giving him any info.

Whys that have I missed some news? Have you heard we are getting the P1a data readout next week? Another big speech by fiona next week that is going to shoots us to £50 a share? ah dammit that was last week. Is there a fake brochure doing the rounds? Has ophidian shared something from one of his imaginary sources?
Actually never mind I assume it has no substance and is just the first of many rampy threads coming over the next few days. Ill pop back in my box and skim read next Friday considering 90% with be the same repetitive cut and paste dribble we have every week while we wait for the RNS we all want.
If your buying on the advice of ultra rampers on twitter you deserve all you get, some people treat what they say as if its a RNS from the company. I keep reading "They have told us it works", Nope.....It works when its in a RNS not before I dont care how much you claim they are hinting. It will come eventually but when the company are ready not when the twitter pack say it is.
Tom I will pretext with I enjoy your research and think you find some great nuggets of information but you don't half talk some $hit when people don't agree with your outrageous valuations. "for whatever resason", I have no motive apart from an honest opinion. You keep believing we are getting £200 a share and I'll stay on planet earth. ;-)
3Bn in revenue does not mean avacta are getting 3bn. The 3Bn figure is also new to me too I must have missed that update I was re-reading the last presentation slides which said:
AVA6000 market opportunity
• Doxorubicin has been a standard of care treatment for advanced soft tissue sarcoma
(ASTS) for 40 years.
• Its use is limited by serious dose limiting toxicities such as cardio-toxicity and
myelosuppression.
• Despite this the global market for this generic drug is $1bn.
• AVA6000: The estimated market size (peak sales) of a safer/more efficacious form of
doxorubicin in just three indications (ASTS, breast and ovarian cancer), in the US/EU
alone, is $1.5bn* pa.
• A licensing agreement with a large pharma partner should deliver 10% royalties on sales
to Avacta.
I mean I am an optimist about the future for avacta but some of the valuations thrown around on here today/this week are simply fecking bonkers. 30/40/50 Billion? come on lets get off the meth. Yeah its great to dream but we are currently sat at 300m ish lets get to 1B first eh. Avacta will NEVER in my opinion be allowed to get that big anyway and be taken out long before they can reach anywhere near double digit Billions and regardless of what is written on here or voted in twitter polls about not selling till £25 I bet 98% would snap your hand off for a tenner a share if offered right now, I know I would, I would be silly not to thats a 900% increase and quiet a life changing sum of money! (Although I would leave a couple of thousand in just on the chance I am wrong and it does hit £50+ a share ;-) )
Personally I have thought for a while if the platform looks as promising as we 'think' then a £8-10 buyout is a resonable expectation for the therapeutics in the next 12 months (that values the therapeutics at what 2.5 to 3B when you take into account the bonds) . I see us possibly getting near our prevous ATH on good data from P1a then gradual gains and decent ticks up on licencing deals, income streams etc before a potential TO with a few interested parties. Think the Diagnostics division will stay with Avacta.
Just my opinion and I know the rampers wont like it (I honestly dont care) and would love to be wrong and be sat on a big pile of cash but sometimes you gotta be a bit more realistic ;-)
I had to look into what convertible bonds were. (I am sure I am not alone) and while it seems there are pros and cons to this form of fund raising this line gave me hope considering where we "think" we currently are
"Raising capital through issuing convertible bonds rather than equity allows the issuer to delay dilution to its equity holders. A company may be in a situation wherein it prefers to issue a debt security in the medium-term—partly since interest expense is tax-deductible—but is comfortable with dilution over the longer term because it expects its net income and share price to grow substantially over this time frame. "
No bad news in that RNS but its funny watching some try and turn it into a negative. Nothing overly new either apart from a better cash position than I think most of us thought which is good news.
"Should" nudge the SP a few percent up but this is Avacta so I am expecting a level day or to finish a couple of points down but in the long run its irrelevant, its all going to plan (as far as we can tell) so just about patience now and ignoring the trolls.
A sentence in another or his posts probably explains it best 13thMonkey although he used an additional 17 words.
However I know f*ck all about biotech or AIM so that is why I ask questions that can be misconstrued as deramping.
